I am SO impressed with this product! I had a hideous gold fiberglass tub and surround that wasn’t in the budget to replace. The roll on product was very easy to use and gives an incredible result, but I will give you a few tips: 1. Prep is everything! Fortunately we were completely redoing this bathroom so I didn’t have to worry about the product getting on the floor, but you’re going to want to make sure to cover the entire floor and anything close to the tub (sink, toilet). And scrub/sand better than you’ve ever done in your life! 2. THIN COATS! Roll this stuff as thin as you possibly can to avoid runs and make sure you have enough product to cover the entire area. 3. High-quality foam rollers are essential. I did the first coat with some crappy rollers that ended up getting bits of foam in the finish. I was kind of freaking out, but that leads me to my next tip: 2. This product is surprisingly forgiving! thought I had gotten every trace of silicone off, but after the first coat I noticed there were some areas where it wasn’t taking, in addition to the bits of foam. Don’t fear! You can gently sand between coats on any rough spots, and the second coat will cover beautifully. During the rest of the bathroom reno we ended up accidentally dropping things (screwdrivers, levels) on the tub, and not a scratch in sight! I seriously can’t believe how well this stuff works.

Great product, no Odie Yeah! This size is adequate enough to cover the complete bottom of a standard sized tub, this is where there was significant wear after 28 years of use. Very happy with this product This size is a repair kit, small size and does not come with the tools that come with the larger size. I used credit card sized stuff cardboard to distribute evenly, also used a fine 3" paintbrush fir the finishing detail. Be careful though, the brush shed one bristle/hair, it was a nightmare to remove. If you use a brush I recommend you have a pair of tweezers close by.

I don't know what happened here. I purchased the complete kit it worked awesome. We had one spot that got missed. That seller did have just a touch up kit for the area. The product is not drying. went into review my order and notice the produce I purchased should have had 2 bottles but what I received was just one bottle so What it looks like is I was sent no hardener with this. being a touch up I figured it was all-in one bottle. Long story short Product opened applied package trashed because it was great last time. Now 2 days in and not drying so. Now what do I do. I'm out the money for this product no way to return it. The product wont dry no using my tub tell I figure out how to remove it and purchase from someone who will send the complete kit.

So when applying make sure to remove any tape you have along any edges. I let mine dry and it chipped away at the edges when getting tape off because the stuff adhered to the tape but the tape didnt adhere to the sides of the tile so it chipped. But if you sand the stuff down to make smooth then repour this kit it is exact same stuff as in any other big kit. You get a can of the stuff with activator. Just make sure also not to mess with it around 5 mins after you pour it or it wont flow out and self level.. but is a great coating, thick shell and will last a while if you dont make it too thin..

Not easy to work with but is much more durable than the other tub paints out on the market. It is very hard to prevent runs and sometimes using a foam roller will leave a dimpled pattern in the finish. It sucks that once you mix it you have to use it all at once before it hardens up, so you can't try and use it later for touchups.

Very nice product. Container is big enough to do the mix in., and carefully pour from. Stir for the full 10 min, let sit 2 min, stir a couple more timers and pour. I used small foam roller. Follow directions on useage video. Blotchy as it dries, but do not disturb. We'll see how these patchy areas hold up but at least it gives me some time to decide if I want to glaze or replace this old tub. Thank you!

I saved a bundle using this product as part of a several part DIY process that included using expansion foam, bondo putty, sanding and taping and ultimately coating with Ekopel. This was to repair a busted plastic shower pan in a rental. How well it holds up remains to be seen but it performed the way I'd hoped upon application and really looks great. Because the product is basically a liquid plastic, I recommend it only for re-coating these types of surfaces and would not necessarily use it on porcelain tubs or sinks. I do not think a plastic coating on porcelain will yield the correct results.

Company advised this size would work for what i needed. No way was it nearly enough. As much as this costs they should tell you honestly what kit to get so you don't waste money getting too little product. On the upside it doesn't smell is durable and easy to use

so easy to use, even Justin Trudeau can handle it.

Used this product to refinish a 27 year old composite sink that was stained and rough. There was very little instruction with the product except how to mix the two parts. Preparation of the surface, how to apply it, drying time and clean up was all guess work. It is the consistency of too thick paint, is time consuming to apply and difficult to apply evenly. It is a chemical compound, not like paint. Having said that, the end product was better than hoped for. The finish is a gloss enamel and looks great. Eliminated the need to replace sink and counter top. The longevity of the product is yet to be determined. Would definitely use again.

The product is very small. Probably not enough to do the job I intended for it. I was going to do the tile surround and the tub but this was the only one available. I am glad I purchased two and may be able to do the tub with these. There are no directions in the box and the bottles in the kit do not give information about the amount in the bottles.

Good product but tricky to apply. It ends up being expensive if you need to redo an application which went wrong. After one year we have a spot which gets yellow and porous

Epoxy clear coat and paint is not proportional so unable to dry evenly on large area. Only for very small area touch ups.
