Prepare For That Bank Interview With Confidence
To get the job you want, you need confidence and experience. Don't go into a bank interview cold. Get to know your way around counting money with this amazing device.Set up only takes a moment. Find a nice sturdy table to place the device. There is a built in carry handle to make sure you don't drop it. It drops out of the way when not in use.Plug the power cable in the back, flip the power switch, and you're ready to count some serious money.Practice with large stacks of One's to get the fill for it. If you forgot to go the bank to get some, head back there now. Or, if you have any friends who are exotic dancers, offer to count her money for her.The hopper holds up to 200 bills, but I preferred a more manageable stack of 100. A toggle switch goes from automatic (the default when the machine is turned on) to manual. I preferred the manual mode as it allowed me to place the bills squarely without ripping them out of my hand. Press the start switch and lean over to smell the sweet sweet smell of dirty bank note fibers flowing through the air. On a hot day, the swirling bank notes even act as a fan.A few seconds is all it takes to go through the entire stack of bills. Batch mode is useful to band the bills. It defaults to 100, but it can be adjusted in 25 increments or micro one-step adjustments. Money bands (sold separately) typically hold 100 bills and come in labeled, color coded strips. When the machine reaches the desired batch number, it pauses to allow the counted stack to be removed.During my testing, none of the bills got flagged as counterfeit. I only had the machine jam twice during hundreds of attempts, and that was due to some really nasty bills that shouldn't even be in circulation let alone a dance club.Presort the different denominations before counting them because this machine does not differentiate between different them, nor does it sum the totals of the bills' value. This is where those math skills you swore in 9th grade you would never use finally kick in.Counting stacks of 100 also make it easier to sum. Add TWO zeroes to the end of the denomination. If that fails you, switch to the calculator app on your phone. If that's still too hard, make batches of 10 and only add ONE zero to the end. Some machines record the serial #. This one does not. What do you expect for $60? For $600, you can get a more expensive model, but then you won't have any bills to test with. After each days run, unplug your machine, grab it by the handle, and give it a good cleaning with an air hose. There are multiple sensors in the machine that need to be kept clean for accurate results. For the money, this machine did a 100% accurate job and is a real time saver. I feel confident that I can now go to my bank interview and act like a pro, handling money like I was born with this machine.

BRILLIANT MACHINE……… My 3rd……… Really Great Machine

I became so impressed & obsessed with the technology, I decided I wanted the top of the line ……… so here it is, and this is why I think it’s so good…Let’s talk about functions………First………common sense, bills can’t be wet, overly filthy, folded up, curled up, have paper clips or rubber bands, staples etc on them…… common sense stuff ……… bills have to be clean …Adjust the hopper to 0.10” on ea side of the bills.Push the “ mode’ button until desired setting is reached………… all the modes keep the tally’s in memoryMIX- Totals bills & denominations, gives total valueFACE MODE- Sorts regardless of face up or face down……… the 1st bill in the hopper determines the sorting & counting. All bills not in that order get placed into the REJECT POCKET.COUNT-Just counts # of bills, does not recognize denomination & does not detect counterfeit.SORT-Counts and sorts by the first denomination fed into the hopper.ANYTIME a bill passes that does not conform to the 1st bill fed, it will be rejected and placed into the REJECT POCKET.Total bills and total value will always be displayed on screen.EVERYTHING IS KEPT IN MEMORY AS WELL……………ADD MODE-Will count multiple stacks of bills, while keeping track of total amount and value of bills already counted. When time to count next stack, empty stack from bottom, add new stack of bills to be counted into the hopper, the KOLIBRI SIGNATURE will continue to count and add new count to the total.BATCH MODE-This is used to select QUANTITY for specific counting purposes ……… the default setting is 100…It can be adjusted by pressing the +1/+10….or the Batch Button. If the hopper runs out of bills before a batch is complete ,the screen will display INCOMPLETE BATCH………… at that time ,you can add more bills, or remove the incomplete batch.I think you can see, now that I have told you a little bit about my new “ HELPER”, why I chose this, and why I felt it was the correct Investment to make…………It will save me TIME, STRESS, HEADACHES, AGGRAVATION & MONEY ………My least favorite thing in the world is ACCOUNTING………making money is fun, we all like that…dealing with it is a paIn….The Accounting Part……… This LITTLE BEAUTY is going to free up my time ……… and that is worth EVERYTHING TO ME !!!!!

Buy it, it’s worth every penny! It does it’s job fast and accurately!
It can count 27 bills faster than iPhone can take a picture!I have tested it with several hundred bills and it produced 100% accurate results.I used several counterfeit bills that we have on hand and it detected all of them correctly! Each time it displayed the error code for fake bill and stopped counting until I removed them from the hopper.I taped two bills together and the machine correctly identified it with an error code. It stopped counting until I removed the bills from the hopper.I stuck regular pieces of paper mixed in with large amounts of real bills and it was also able to detect those and once again stopped counting until I removed them from the hopper.I wanted to see what it would take to get this machine to jam, so I inserted the bills increasingly more and more crooked. I had to insert them at almost a 60° angle to get them to jam. Anything less than that and this machine would simply straighten and count them. You should make note that this is a bill counter. It is not a bill discriminator. The difference is simple bill discriminator‘s typically run around $1500.A bill discriminator will allow you to stick a large stack of cash on it all mixed together and it will determine what the denomination is and add a total amount of money for you.A Bill counter simply counts the number of bills that you put in it.So you will need to separate your bills by denomination. Please note this is a completely new updated bill counter from their original.Their original one had earned all the bad reviews it had. I know because I had one.I was happy to see that the company took that into account and did a complete redesign fixing all of their issues and producing this machine!I am glad I gave them another chance because this is the best bill counter I’ve seen for this amount of money! This machine is very professional looking and honestly looks identical to the one my bank uses.It even comes with a dust cover to protect it as well as completing the professional look. The bottom line is it is worth every penny they’re asking and more honestly! If I needed another counting machine I wouldn’t hesitate to buy this again. If a friend or a family member needed needed a bill counting machine I would highly recommend this one to them.

Not as advertised, but technically it works.
Fresh out of the box, I had a stack of 19 bills, 10s and twenties in various faces. Dropped them in the hpooer in count mode, and less than a second later the display read 19. I swicthjed to mix mode, and I got 19, and 290 buck counterd. Here's the problem. I took the same stack and put it in the hopper again using sort node, and it pulls a few bills then stops. Pulls a few more, then stops. Does not sort, does not face. Called support yesterday, they took my info and haven't called back. If I don't hear from them by EOD I'll be sending it back and dropping to a 1 star.Update:Did a little ChatGPT search. Turns out the laymans version of "Sorting and Facing" is a bit misleading. The "Sort" function works by reading the type and orientation of all following bills, stopping if either are wrong. if it finds one that isn't correct, you remove it from the catcher, orient it correctly, and try again. This process repreats until you finally have all the bills in different piles - You do not put in a stack of bills and get back several sorted and faced stacks of bills. This being said, you could pre-face the bills, then only need to run the stack thru the sorter as many times as it takes to start with a new bill. The first pass will pull out all bills of a given type, the second pass would pull out bills of the second type, etc.

Money Counter
I picked this up because I needed a faster and more reliable way to handle cash at work instead of manually counting everything at the end of the day. After a few long nights of recounting bills, I figured it was time to upgrade to something more efficient. This machine has been a huge time saver. The mixed denomination counting is really impressive and gives a clear total without me second guessing anything. It also has multiple modes like sorting and batching, which makes organizing cash way easier. The counterfeit detection features give me extra peace of mind too. It feels solid and well built, not like a cheap plastic machine. The display is easy to read and the controls are simple once I got used to it. It does take a little practice at first but once I learned, it it's incredibly useful. Overall, it works great and makes handling cash way less stressful.

This is the one to buy!
I was looking for a bill counter that can accurately count and detect fake bills for my business when I stumbled upon this Kolibri unit. The price was a bit high for my budget but given its features, I decided to give the machine a shot. I didn’t have any fake bills around, so I bought a stack of fake ones from Amazon to test out the fake bill detection performance. Aside from some Chinese letters and lack of a magnetic ink, the dimensions, weight, and look of the bill were near identical to real bills. After some testing with a stack of half fake and half real bills, WOW does this thing sort and separate the fakes from the real ones.**PROS**- This thing is fast and accurate. I placed a stack of 200 bills and the machine counted the value of strictly real bills while effortlessly sorting out the fake bills, all without a single stop!- No more need to orient several bills yourself! Let’s say I have a stack of bills of random orientation and denomination and I want to orient them and sort by denomination. I first use the sort function to get all of my $1, $5, $10, etc. together. Then for each stack of denominations, I use the “Face” function followed by “Orientation” or vice versa. I was able to get five denominations sorted and oriented within a matter of a minute or so.- The machine errs on the side of caution with false negatives. Very occasionally a real bill will slip through into the reject pocket. This is a great feature because it is much safer to have false negatives than false positives, where fake bills are deemed real by the machine. Simply run the reject pocket stack through the hopper up top to ensure that every real bill is accounted for.- Smart design. The machine has a proximity sensor on the top hopper to know when a stack of bills are loaded, a sensor in the reject pocket, and a sensor on the bottom for counted and legitimate bills. What’s awesome is that if I have two stacks of bills I place on the hopper separately, the total value of the first stack is added onto the second stack for as long as the first stack is not removed from the bottom. If the first stack is removed, the sensor detects it and resets the counter/value to zero. The machine also will tell you the reason for each bill’s rejection, such as no magnetic ink in the case of my fake bills.- Built-in printer. If you want to see how many bills of each denomination you have, you can either see it on the screen or print it out or safekeeping.**CONS**- If you increase the speed, the accuracy of the number of counted bills, value of the stack, and detection of fakes deteriorates. The machine has three speeds. By default, it is set to the lowest speed, which is still plenty fast to sift through a stack of 200 bills. I found that it is best to leave the machine at the default slowest speed for maximum accuracy.- The display UI works, although it’s not the prettiest in the world. Sometimes error messages will overlay on top of each other, but I have not found these things to hinder my ability to use this machine or cause performance issues.- Price. Some may be deterred by the price, but honestly I think it’s worth it if you can bite the bullet. To not have to constantly stop from each fake detection and to be able to sort, orient, and count the value of stacks of bills with such accuracy saves me a lot of time and hassle.I’m glad that I stretched my budget a bit for this machine. I sorted and counted a stack of 200 fake and real bills about a hundred times in hopes of tricking it, but it never let a single fake slip through. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this machine to another business owner.

Bill Mutilation!
I don’t know if this one was just defective or what but this was insane! I had high hopes spending a decent amount of money on this bill counter. I put a stack of money in and it literally started ripping the bills in HALF as it threw them in to the reject tray! Buyer beware.

Perfect for small businesses
This money counter has been a great addition to my business and has helped make daily work much easier. It counts cash quickly and accurately, which saves me a lot of time when handling large amounts of bills. The setup process was simple, and the controls are very easy to understand. I also like that it can detect fake bills, giving me extra peace of mind when accepting cash from customers. The machine runs smoothly without making too much noise, and it fits nicely on my counter without taking up too much room. So far, it has worked reliably with no jams or counting mistakes. Overall, this machine has made cash counting faster, simpler, and much less stressful every single day at work.

Solo contar.

UV/MG functions
When the functions, UV/MG, are on its impossible to count notes. Stops every 2-3 notes.without the function on it works fine and accurately.

Defective item
The machine came without UK plug so I had to use the adapter, as soon I switched the machine on it worked for a bit, made a popping sound and the smoke came out. Now I have to return it at my own expense.
