Healthy Plant
A gorgeous little plant, and the price is significantly less than you can find them in a nursery. The first one I ordered arrived wilted with both leaves red, indicating that they were dying. The seller took it back with no problem, and I used the refund to buy another one. This one arrived in perfect condition, and within a couple of weeks, I had new growth. The plant is very healthy, and I now have three new rhizomes. Very happy with this purchase.

Fast delivery, arrived healthy and packed with great care
Plant arrived early, healthy and very well packed. Plant is about 3in tall and came in a 2.5in plastic pot. I transplant it to a larger pot immediately. Highly recommend this Seller. Thanks.

Adorable Little Plant
I ordered my orchid and it said it would take two weeks to arrive. I knew it probably wouldn't make it. Fortunately, it only took a week to come in. It is so cute. Very small, but that's what I expected for under $15. It looked to be freshly potted in new soil for shipping. The plant was wrapped so well, dirt didn't even escape. No damage at all and not soaking wet. Great quality!

Very very small
I have ordered many plants from California Tropicals. I have been very pleased with the plants I have received and think it's a reputable company. Unfortunately, this is the first time I have been somewhat disappointed in a plant from them. It is a very tiny Black Jewel Orchid. Very tiny! Overall it does seem healthy. So, I am going to put it under a grow light and hope it grows! The last time I ordered this plant from them it was definitely bigger.

I'm obsessed with my new Jewel Orchid from California Tropicals!
I just had to rave about the adorable Jewel Orchid I recently received from California Tropicals! This little gem is seriously the cutest plant I've ever seen. From the moment the box arrived, I was impressed. The packaging was meticulously done, ensuring my new plant friend made the journey safely. Upon unwrapping, I was greeted by a thriving, healthy Jewel Orchid. The leaves were vibrant and complete, and the overall condition was flawless. ✨ It's clear that California Tropicals puts real love and care into their plants. This Jewel Orchid has already become a cherished member of my plant family, and I can't wait to watch it thrive. Huge thanks to the team at California Tropicals for the fantastic experience - I'll be back for more!

Nice little orchid
So, I received the orchid on November 3rd. It did take a full week to arrive. It was very well packaged --I had to be careful taking all the packing material off the orchid. And, the orchid suffered no breakage--which is good because it's one stem with 3 1/2 leaves (one leaf is so tiny it's hard to see). I was a little worried because the orchid was very wet and chilled (no heat pack), but I placed it in a window in a small plastic container and left it be. It has recently joined my other plants and seems to be doing well. It's very small, so fingers crossed. It is going to be a long time before I declare it thriving, but it is holding it's own. I have no real complaints. I haven't transplanted it because I figured it has been through enough of a shock traveling from the West to East Coast, so I cannot comment on the root system. I keep it damp, under a grow light, and not far from a north-facing window. I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars because of the cutting size and held off my review until it had a chance to acclimate. We shall see how this goes, but the seller is trustworthy. Update--Repotted the end of December--still fine. No new growth but hanging in there.
