The quality is good, they will shrink a tad if washed and dried on hot, but so will most other socks. They fit both my 3 and 5 year old, but I'd say the fit is more accurate for my 3 year old since they actually come up to her knees. She is average height for her age. We have worn and washed these at least 5-10 times already with no issue. Neither of my girls complained about the comfort of them.
