It has a zip on the side that lets the monofin in.I was worried that air would be trapped inside as I swim, but no, any trapped air comes out of the seams at the bottom of the tail.The tail and swimsuit had a few loose threads on them, but nothing major.The only problem is that on my petite and skinny frame, the tail kept sliding down a tiny bit as I swam, but that was not too bad if I pulled it up every so often.Watch out if the pool floor is quite rough though, as it can give the tail fin a slightly fuzzy look if it gets rubbed.All in all it is a lovely set that looks nice. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Nice item and worth the money *by P***M on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 14 August 2019* The mermaid tail is of good quality lightweight elasticated material that dries quickly. The flipper fits inside perfectly and slides in to the tail via a nice discrete zipped pocket at the bottom. To be honest, I was surprised to see this detail in an item of this price especially as this is my daughters second tail.
