Worked for formal events as intended. However don’t expect high quality, one headband tore after one use, the second lasted through the first use (has not been used again as they were purchased for specific events). I spent a decent amount of time searching amazon for the perfect complement to my daughter’s dresses for 2 wedding events, these worked great. I love that it comes with 5 different colors! Once thing I noticed right away is how soft the band is that they are attached to, and how well they were made. There is no rough glue spots or patches anywhere on the crowns. When using them I've noticed that they stay on very well and do not slip off easily which I love!! I like they they have simple embellishments with the pearls. It give them a nice touch and looks better than some I've been with the cheaper looking flat acrylic embellishments. They are comfortable enough for her to wear all day, and cute enough for occasions. The price is right, as something of similar quality at Target is about $8 full price (EACH CROWN), or $2 on clearance. The reason I left off a star is because of the packaging. I understanding shipping small items like this in a bubble bag, but a slight reinforcement with cardpaper (like in shoes) would really help. The items arrived with a significant crease on both the sparkle elastic headband and crown part, with paint, color and glitter missing. She loved them just the same, so for that, the item is worth the price.
