Clostnature Heavy Duty Tent Footprint Floor Saver, Camping Tarp

This tarp has been through three seasons and some traveling both on foot and bike and it's held up very well. I like it because it's thin, making it easy to put away, but it's got the strength of a heavy duty tarp which I was quite surprised. It hold water, extremely well. I placed this tarp under my tent and usually I tent on flat or kind of sloped surfaces so I never notice if water gets under my tent. But more recently in a different camping spot then the kind of areas that I camp it's more sloped inwards. It rained this week and dude there was so much water under my tent. That's my fault in regards to tent placement but that water did not go away till I had to take the tarp off and drain the water. It doesnt hold water in the material it just slides off but it did rain alot to give you an idea. I probably could've filled a gallon!

Perfect footprint for our scout tents. They are lightweight and portable yet sturdy. I've learned it's better to put them on the inside of the tent than the bottom as our tents leak but... When doing that, we stayed dry. They have a storage pouch and fold back up easily. Travels pretty well and doesn't take a ton of space

Fits perfectly under my 4-person Coleman Skydome tent. Good water resistance, seems very thick/durable. So far has done well to protect the bottom of my tent.

Just received this and will be using it this weekend. My tent floor is 88 x 51 inches. That's the 1.5 person size per this item description so that's what I ordered. The actual measurement across the center line is 86.5 long by 51.5 wide. I normally DO NOT want any ground cloth sticking out from under the tent since that would funnel any rain under the tent. It is definitely not needed to extend all the way to the edges of the floor since no one ever actually steps at the very edges... or shouldn't if you value your tent. But this being a half inch wider will be OK since it will still be inside the front and back vestibules of my tent so not really exposed. This ground cloth is just at the indicated measurements in the details along the edges for both length and width. This item does come with grommet tapes as shown on the corners but DOES NOT come with the cording shown attached to those tapes. Since my tent is a little bit longer I will need to add cording to reach out to the tent stakes. This is my only reason for docking one star on the review. Only time will tell about durability. It is light weight compared with other ground cloths I've had that were made for the tent models I've owned. Only a sheet of Tyvek (used under one tent) was lighter, but not by much.

This footprint is a little oversized for my tent, but I actually like the extra coverage because it protects the gear I keep in both vestibules. In humid Georgia, the underside is usually soaked when I pack up in the morning—which tells me it did exactly what I wanted by keeping my tent floor dry. It’s the first thing I pull out when I reach camp. If rain is threatening, I’ll string it up with a little paracord to create a quick shelter so I can set up my freestanding tent protected from Georgia downpours. Then I simply move the whole setup to the perfect campsite before staking it down. Staying dry starts before the tent ever goes up. Since it’s the last thing I pack inside my backpack, it also doubles as my campsite yoga mat while I stretch before hitting the trail. Is it the lightest footprint available? No. Is it one of the best values for the money? Absolutely. It has protected my tent through multiple backpacking trips, and I’d buy it again without hesitation.

Ordered this with the newer 2-person tent that used a single center pole that Y-splits to to legs on each side. This footprint fits it perfectly and attaches to the poles to hold everything in proper place and taut. It feels thin compared a tarp but withstood the poking and pulling compared to the tarps I use that ripped. I was able to roll this up with the tent and fly in the included tent bag. This footprint seems like it will hold up, was cheap enough and will get put through the tests with canning with scouts this year.

As I am just starting my camping adventures, I am not sure what a foot print should feel like, but this was extremely thin. With that said it can be stored easier than a tarp, and it did its job blocking the damp ground from our tent. I won't camp in the rain anyways, but I'm not sure how it would do in extremely wet conditions.

Good tent footprint. I used this backpacking and it folds up small, also light weight.

Ya tenía un suelo del Decathlon, pero este le supera en lo poco que abulta doblado , un tercio del peso y muy fácil de doblar, por qué parece una sábana, aunque aísla de maravilla de la humedad. Lo he probado sobre césped súper mojado y lloviendo como suelo de mi tarp en plena montaña y súper aprobado!!
