The order arrived promptly and in good condition. I've used oxygen absorbers for a significant number of years but not this brand. Having what I believed to be an above average knowledge of what oxygen absorbers are, how they're used, and what they do, I was surprised to read in the enclosed pamphlet that what I'd been told was not quite accurate in terms of the absorption required for common foods, particularly in larger containers. And what I see in the chart makes sense. I was pleased to find out that there is a security buffer of 180% of the packet's rating. I don't know if the brand I've been using has this rating as there has never been an information pamphlet included. I can appreciate that PackFresh developed a well-thought through document to include with their product. Additionally, there was a discount on my next order included. And there will be not just one next order but many more to come. I feel confident using this product for long-term food storage. As soon as you open the bag, put the bag with all the oxygen absorbers into a zip lock bag. If you don't, they will quickly get warm and the moisture sensor paper will turn blue. It doesn't mean they are bad, just that they are reacting to the air you exposed them to. Just be careful that each time you take one out of the bag, that you seal the rest of them back in the zip lock bag again as quickly as possible. I would also recommend vacuum sealing any of the extras left over.

I feel like these are really great quality. They work really well, so you need to have your jars or bags already prepared with food, then pop these little guys in, then hurry and vacuum seal. I actually vacuum seal these in a jar before I even begin to seal the food jars, because I don't want them to absorb too much oxygen. I like that this brand comes with a packet on how to use them!

This product is as advertisedBut you have to get everything ready before you open the bag they will start deteriorating quickly hurry up and have a mason jar nearby to put the remainder inTip... buy small quantities at a time so they don't go bad as quick

I really like these, they are easy to use. If you use these what I did was, I put everything in the bags first then I went back and dropped one in each bag of food then I use a food saver and sealed the packets first and put them aside then when and sealed the bags with food. I didn't have a problem with them getting warm or hot while I was preparing food bags but I didn't wait to see if they would either. I wanted to get them resealed as soon as possible. I will reorder these!

I purchased these to put with my beans that I've sealed with my Food Saver and put into another container. So far so good.And I put the rest of these oxygen absorbers into a mason jar. The 1st time I used my Food Saver Jar Sealer and it was definitely sealed because it was harder to remove the lid. The 2nd time, I just let the oxygen absorbers seal the lid & they did.Haven't figured out yet if it would have been better to seal immediately with the Jar sealer - to help the absorbers keep longer...

I love this product I've been using it to help put back some dry food for long term storage. the included informational packet is a wealth of knowledge and is given for free with this product I wasn't expecting it and it really helped confirm I was on the right track with the use I had planned with this product. it's really cool to see something that's made in America to help Americans be prepared. thanks for asureing my family will always be well feed. look forward to get more or your products as soon as I can afford it
