I wanted something safe, visible, and comfortable, and this completely fit the bill. The absolute best feature is the built-in light. It charges via USB, which is a massive upgrade over the battery-operated light on my own helmet. I never have to worry about the light dying halfway through our rides; we just plug it in before we head out, and it's good to go. It gives me so much peace of mind knowing she is highly visible on the road. Aside from the excellent light, the dial sizing feature makes it a cinch to get the right fitment on the quick, ensuring it sits securely and comfortably on her head without any fuss. The helmet itself is lightweight, so she doesn't complain about it feeling heavy on longer rides. It has a very sleek, stylish look that she actually likes wearing, and the build quality has held up incredibly well to frequent use. If you are looking for a reliable, modern helmet with great safety features, this is a fantastic choice. I might actually have to buy a second one to replace my old battery-powered helmet! Review: Nice helmet nice price - This is my 1st bike helmet. I have 2 snowboard helmets that i spent maybe 5 to 10 dollars more on but in same price range. I had read that the snowboard helmets were of a little more protection and that seems to be true comparing to same price range. I at first wanted to continue wearing snowboard helmets when i recieved this one but i decided to not be so quick to judge. After making ajustments to the straps and getting everything set up and wearing this one for a while i decided i really like helmet. It is very light weight and very cool ventilated but still fits very snug. The adjusting dial in back works very nicely and easy to adjust. The light in back is a nice bonus and comes with charging cable. It comes with 2 different colored visors. One black and the other of same color as helmet. I think it looks nice on. Doesnt look too goofy silly big. With how it fits and stays on securely i feel confident it will protect well if i fall. Im sure the higher priced ones may give better protection and comfort but i think for the trails and speed i will be going this one will work great. I feel i made a good choice with this purchase. So far really content with it. More comfortable and lighter and better ventilated than my other helmets. ## Features - SAFETY - This GROTTICO bike helmet meets US & EU cycling standards. - ADJUSTABLE DIAL & STRAPS - The adjustable fit system for men and women. 2 sizes for choice, suggested head circumference: M (55-58CM), L (59-61CM) - INTEGRATED SAFETY REAR LIGHT - Bicycle helmet with USB rechargeable light. Best for night riding with 3 lighting modes, Steady, Flash and Wave. - TOUGH & LIGHTWEIGHT - Integrated forming a tough polycarbonate outer shell with the impact-absorbing foam liner. The fusion process makes helmets lighter and cooler than traditional helmets. - KEEP YOUR HEAD COOL - 23 vents keep ample ventilation. Provide one more set of helmet replacement inner pads and two different color visors to collocation. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B083K9Z9JT | | Additional Features | Adjustable,Lightweight | | Age Range (Description) | Adult | | Age Range Description | Adult | | Best Sellers Rank | #7,304 in Sports & Outdoors ( See Top 100 in Sports & Outdoors ) #26 in Adult Bike Helmets | | Brand | GROTTICO | | Brand Name | GROTTICO | | Color | Matte Black | | Customer Reviews | 4.7 out of 5 stars 4,486 Reviews | | Inner Material | Expanded Polystyrene | | Item Dimensions | 10 x 7 x 4 inches | | Item Weight | 10.56 ounces | | Manufacturer | GROTTICO | | Manufacturer Part Number | W-019 | | Number of Items | 1 | | Outer Material | Polycarbonate (PC) | | Recommended Uses For Product | Cycling | | Size | M(55-58cm) | | Special Feature | Adjustable,Lightweight | | UPC | 779172990272 | | Unit Count | 1 Count | ## Product Details - **Age Range (Description):** Adult - **Brand:** GROTTICO - **Color:** Matte Black - **Size:** M(55-58cm) - **Special Feature:** Adjustable,Lightweight ## Images ![Adult-Men-Women Bike Helmet with Light - Mountain Road Bicycle Helmet with Replacement Pads & Detachable Visor - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61-4B-h1TTL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Color, Size** options. ## Questions & Answers **Q: I fell and hit my head , helmet has a few dents in it , where do I send it back for replacement?** A: It's not a ridiculous question. Many major helmet companies offer some kind of free or discounted replacement if you're involved in a crash that damages the helmet. Google "bike helmet crash free replacement". You'll see for example Bontrager "With our Crash Replacement Guarantee, we will provide you with a free replacement helmet if it is involved in a crash within the first year of ownership." For this brand "Grottico", I can't find any info about a crash-replace program. **Q: Does the helmet have a cpsc certification sticker inside the helmet?** A: Yes **Q: How much difference is there between the medium and large sizes as far as fit is concerned?** A: I have a rather large head so I knew the M wouldn’t be the one for me. The large fits very well and the helmet has an adjustment in the back so you can make it slightly larger or smaller. The helmet is very light and a solid product. Hope this helps with your decision. Oh the the light on the back of the helmet gives great visibility to drivers. **Q: How do you remove the warning lamp to charge it?** A: The light gets popped out of the helmet completely to charge. Pry it a little from each side. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Perfect for Family Rides—Love the USB Rechargeable Light! *by M***Z on May 31, 2026* My daughter recently decided she wanted to start riding bikes with me, so I bought this adult helmet for her to wear on our outings.
