Works for me. I have Afro / Arab hair and it does the job extremely well. Obviously I have to comb the hair out before hand. Remember to use it on dry hair only! The item heats quickly which is good. No easy way to clean it, so if you use water through a sponge or something let the item dry out after. It would be nice to have a UK plug. It comes with an adapter but it is not fused so I would suggest using it with a fused surge protected extension lead instead of directly to the mains. I’ve found it doesn’t fit shaver adapters. The item plug can easily come out of the adapter also. That being said, I still like it, it smooths my head and facial hair (which can become very matted with tight curls) very well. I have found that used in conjunction with olive oil spray and quality shampoo and conditioner my hair has thickened and grown some (obviously Not to the same extent as rapunzel) .It also comes with a 2 year guarantee. For the price; not too shabby.

Not really impressed when this arrived based on the product sales pitch/write up. Really rigid and hard feel. Doesn’t straighten my beard as good as when I use a small cheap hairdryer and brush. Very disappointed and it took an age to arrive too.

Hi there, just would like to say the product came on time and is made fairly well have not had it that long so only time will tell on its durability if anything changes I will update you. Currently using this product for my beard and I do not think this product is totally anti-scald if not positioned correctly when using you can feel how hot it is also the product does get hot so be mindful of where you touch and hold. It does straighten out the beard but if you have afro hair with tight curls then be prepared for longer usage time. And also I think the temperature could of went up to 24 instead of 22. Apart from this, it is working fine.

Straightens hair fabulously! I really like how soft and smooth my hair feels after using it. It is such a easy way to straight hair in a faster way rather than blow dry or ironing. It heats up fast & doesn't burn the scalp or hands. This thing heats up in about 30 seconds and is AMAZING, buy it...You won't be disappointed...Especially for the price!

Came quickly and is super easy to use. Temp control is great and it heats up very quickly.The only thing I would say it doesn’t come with a heat glove or mat to rest it on, but had them from other things so all good. Straightens my hair great and curls under the ends too.

Worked ok for few times but then started sparking after few uses! Returned to Amazon. Also, my first bad review on Amazon in a decade. Please stay away if you want your beard and face to stay fire free!

This particular beard straightener needs to be used on a long beard, I have a medium length beard and although it did straighten my hair it made the hair stick out rather than style it straight down. The full length of the hair needs to be at least 2” from your jaw/chin line for it to work effectively. I’m a good 6-10 months off this length so we’ll see when I’ve gotten more length.
