Military friendly.
I researched this watch for weeks trying to decide if I wanted to spend the money. I looked for suitable alternatives, but could not find any other watch that displays the functionality of this watch with such class and style. It is very well made and you will be amazed at what it can do. Take time to read the users manual as this will save you time and headache later. Once you've played with the watch a few times, its functions are rather simple to use. I've had other watches that were far more difficult to use. I am in the military and this watch has many tactical advantages beyond its functions such as the scratch resistant sapphire crystal glass is non-reflective as is the satin-titanium band; good things in a tactical environment. Additionally, the light for the digital function is red; also a plus for night ops. The compass is failry accurate and has a declination adjustment, allowing this compass to provide true North and magnetic North depending on your need, all while allowing you to determine an azimuth. This makes basic land navigation easy with this watch. Suunto watches are great too, for such needs, (Suunto watches are also GPS enabled) but I always felt they lacked in style and class. I can wear this watch with my ACU's in the field, with my dress blues for formal occasions, and with any civilian attire. Basically, this watch met all my needs and wants. It is expensive, but so far has been worth every penny. I think most of the complaints about this watch are mostly opinion based and many reviewers have brought up valid points, but so far I have no complaints with this watch. It's beautiful, functional, masculine, and people will be ooing and ahhing when they see it.

"T" in T-Touch Expert = "Terrific!"
I received the T-Touch Expert (T013.420.44.202.00) about a month ago, and I haven't been sorry in the least! I've been looking for a good quality, analog/digital combo watch for quite some time when I came across the Tissot. Certainly, I was curious about its features (compass, chrono, altimeter, meteo, alarm, and thermo), but I was impressed with its design, did some research, and finally decided to get the watch. I love it! Light, attractive, and functional; I find myself using the alarm and chrono features often, as well as the compass (which is scarily accurate!). I've gone on several long hikes, and the compass is a welcomed piece of equipment. The azimuth is right on, and it's delightful to use (once the azimuth is set, the watch digitally points the way and beeps when you're on the right heading; fantastic!). When traveling, I use the two time zones function, and have found it quite useful. I also don't tire of showing off the watch to family and friends! But I do have a few nits: The watch doesn't have a second hand, although I've quickly gotten used to it, and it would've been great to have the day of the week displayed with the date (it shows the month, day, and year). Also, the thermo (temperature) gauge is only accurate after you've taken the watch off for 10 to 15-minutes in order to get an accurate reading. Not a big deal (and understandable), though. Other than that, I really do think this is a terrific watch!

Go-Go-Gadget Watch!
I love this watch! I have been wanting it for 3 years and I finally found it at my price range here on Amazon. I spend a ton of time outdoors when I am away from my monkey suit job. This watch works well in both situations. I read all the reviews before I purchased, so I was aware of how easy the watch scratches. It does scratch extremely easily. Since that is the only negative and I was aware of it when I purchased it, I am giving it a 5 star rating (I would have given it 4 stars if I did not know that). This watch is a conversation starter for sure. The touch screen is ridiculously cool. I was very surprised how accurate the compass was. The function that keeps track of total elevation gain/loss works great if you stop it during breaks. As with all barometric altimeters, it needs regular calibration to be effective. I would suggest figuring out the elevation at your house or work and then calibrating it as frequently as possible. After a couple uses, you get used to the different functions and I find them to be more user friendly than similar Sunto products (and WAY better looking!). If you are a very large person, this watch may not fit you and may require additional links (not included). I am 6'0" 245 pounds and the watch fit perfectly right out of the box not taking out any links. In summary, I love this watch and all my friends are jealous! Looks good on your wrist in the woods and when you are wearing nice clothes out on the town. Suck it up and buy it!

Its in all the top watch magazines.....BRILLIANT
I first saw this on the Gadget show as the ultimate gadget watch....and it is. It has a nice feel to it and weighs just right. In the past i had metal strapped watches that pulled at hairs but not this one. The touchscreen always registers the touch with light pressure on first push. The dial glows in the dark, the backlight is red (nice). The altimeter is very accurate!! In the airplane you will not get a true reading as the cabins are pressurised. It will show about 2500m (about 1/6th of what it should be). It has different settings for weather around the world. The barometer is realy cool and can tell you whether the weather is about to improve or worsen according to low or high pressures. I also love the compass which again is very accurate. I have a few watches but this is by far my favourite. You wll also notice people looking at it when they see you using your touchscreen. I have no complaints at all. 5 star product

I have this watch for almost 3 years and it ...
I have this watch for almost 3 years and it doesn't work well. I had problem with its display that shows me a message to change the battery and the battery is still ok. I think it is a problem of short-circuit. Right now it is being repaired.Other thing that happened was its bezel that came off and I spent lots of money to fix it.It is a very expensive watch to give me such problems.
