Unofficial History of NASA Mission Patches

Very nice hardback book on NASA color mission patches and info.Cloth Apollo patch sealed into the front cover (but it can be removed).Well organized. Color stickers are placed behind the book index in the back so they are not in your way when reading the book. Great gift idea as well.

NASA Historian, Dr. Roger Launius's all too brief book on the NASA mission patches. Nice thumbnail commentary on all the missions & accompanying patches for each. My personal preference is for the line art of the designs over thepatches. The patch photos are OK, but a great deal of detail is lost. Additionally, The Apollo, Skylab, and ASTP mission patches are missing from the book. Nevertheless. I would enthusiastically recommend this book tothe collector or space program enthusiast.

Gift for grandson.

Very nicely illustrated reference book for space flight patches. There are two bonuses that come with this book: an actual patch (seen on the book cover) and some stickers replicating some space patches. I would like to see other book publishers add some extras like this publisher has done.

I love reading a book. Very easy reading. A good overview of all the space flights without going into too much detail but enough to know what they were up to and accomplished, first book in a while that I’ve actually bought versus a Kindle.

Kid loved it. Lots of imagination sparked.

Would have been great to have “Unmanned”mission patches as well ....“Great” book with “Great” color images of “Manned” mission patches

I was very sceptical that this book would not contain all sts mission patches. I've been proven wrong this book is absolutely brilliant it goes through every mission patch from mercury gemini apollo skylab iss. Excellent details now with this excellent book as a space patch collector I can finish updating my pride and joy space mission patch collection brilliant.

What a wonderful book.So much history, brilliant photography.A free cloth badge , free stickers in the back of the book .This is my coffee table book .

Good value for money

Das Buch an sich ist wirklich interessant. Hier findet man viele Informationen zu den einzelnen Missionen, allerdings ist das Buch schlecht verarbeitet, sodass sich sich die Seiten beim ersten Aufschlagen direkt lösen.Außerdem fehlte bei meinem Exemplar das Patch, welches mitgeliefert werden sollte.
