I was so sceptical about this, I hovered over the buy now button for days and as my morning sickness has been getting worse, day by day, and totally disrupting my mood, sleep and eating habits, I took the plunge! I eagerly watched the amazon delivery driver on the map and couldn't wait for just a fraction of relief. Annoyingly, I had to charge it for 1.5 hours first but after about 30 mins of wearing it, I was actually feeling like I could tackle the evening and didn't feel the need to constantly snack or a cracker or suck a sweet to hold back the wretching and nausea feeling. I've had to wear it while I'm asleep as I wake up feeling ill and needing to eat. I've found the lower setting doesn't help as much so I've cranked it up and it's helped again. I wouldn't say the nausea has completely gone but it's only a 2/10 from being an 8/10 which is a lot more manageable. It's a bit fiddly to get tight enough on your wrist and I'd worry about someone trying this with super tiny wrists but I have managed to get a good grip and you could pack it out if you needed to to get the connection. I don't often wrote reviews but I thought that if I could help at least one other person feeling like I was, it was worth it. I know it's expensive but quite frankly, the nausea was effecting so much of my life it will probably save me money in the long run and allow me to carry on, as much as is possible, like normal.

Please do not buy this product. You cannot return it and stops working after the first charge. Very disappointed with Amazon, not what I’d expected. You have been warned.

It actually works. Family member was having issues with nausea because of pills they had to take. I get nauseous on the planes. All been dealt with and I have to buy now another band because keep giving away mine.

Description states that conductivity gel is included. Was not included.

I was so sceptical about buying this after I seen some of the reviews, but it is amazing it got me through a flight. It’s really effective only reason I have rated it a three stars is the charging of the device is really hard and a balancing act.

I have lost my charger and also ran out of the gel, can I buy a replacement. Thank you

I’ll be honest I’ve been sceptical having seen this advertised on social media for months but from suffering from car sickness and migraine sickness I felt it was worth giving a try. I purchased mine in the prime day sale and although I haven’t tried it personally yet, my mum was feeling sick yesterday and I suggested she tried it. Only a small amount of gel is needed but it was tricky to start with, knowing just how much you needed and how big the circle in which you spread across you wrist needed to be. I would say it needs to be about a 10p piece in size or a quarter for my US friends. Pop the band on two fingers up from your wrist then turn it on, in order for mum to feel the tingling all the way down to her palm and middle finger we did need to crank it up a fair bit but within about a minute of putting it on the sickness went away. Mum wore it for about an hour and then we both were a little worried the sickness might return when she took it off but nope the sickness was gone and mum could carry on her day. Yes it’s a considered purchase but honestly buy it, I can’t wait to test this on rollercoasters on my next theme park trip! Only downside I wish the tube of gel was a bit bigger and Amazon stocked it, but you can buy a new one from the company. This will stay in my bag in case a sickness migraine comes on while I’m at work, it’s my new go to gadget! Thanks Amazon for stocking it and also putting it in the prime day sale.

I bought this for my wife last June. Happy to say it worked great on two different 6 hour drives. It was the first time she hadn’t got car sick in years. She loved it and took excellent care of it, stored it in original box when not in use. The battery charger cord is very short and problematic and is in need of a redesign. Last week she took it out of the box and charged it overnight before a long trip. Product showed a full charge but would not turn on and seemed to be completely dead. No lights or functions at all. On the return trip it was the same story. Double checked that it was charging overnight but product would not turn on and appeared to be completely dead. Not sure if the battery is replaceable. Very unfortunate because it legitimately worked great, but is too expensive to buy another one if the battery lasts less than 1 year

Reliefband...should be a much better product for this price. Premium products need to be user friendly and ergonomic. They also need to provide measureable results. I would be disappointed, but not surprised if I had paid $50-75 for this product...fool me once, shame on me like...unfortunately I paid over $300. The reliefband premier has a poor charging cable design so it will come off its magnetic holder and thus will not be fully charged when you need it... Once I figured out that I need to tape the charger to the band overnight to get a full charge, I tested it on an ocean fishing trip and I am left wondering if it may have helped me to recover from the typical naussea I feel on the ocean. The only days I actually felt good on my 4 day trip were the last 2 days when I actively chose not to wear the band. Perhaps I got my sea-legs or perhaps the band does not work for me...I wish I was part of the 85% who seem to say this thing is a game-changer. Unfortunately for me, I got home 4 days past the allowable Amazon return policy window. so now I'm the sucker who paid over $300 for a complete hoax. Also, I too, found the band adjustment clasp difficult to use to get the correct tension for the leads to properly contact the skin, but I took the time and frustration to make sure that I would get it right, as I need all the help I can get when it comes to motion sickness! Unfortunately, this device still did not meet any of my expectations.

I have had the worst nausea of my life for the past 5 weeks. I know this is common in pregnancy but I cannot function. Medications have not helped. I was desperate so I ordered this very expensive item. Firstly, the device comes with a 5 inch long charging cord that is a USB on one side (no wall plug it) and three dots on the end that attaches to the device. It doesn't plug in to the device and since the cord is so short it is very difficult to get it to sit just right in order to charge. It lasted me about 8 hours on a full charge. I felt the device at about half max capacity with mild discomfort. I tried it all day for about 3 days. Still nauseous and still had explosive emesis. When I tried to return it, it said it could not be returned. After 30 mins on the phone with amazon I managed to get a refund. They said it could not be returned for health and safety reasons. I work in the medical field. That makes no sense for a simple wrist band that can easily be desensitized. I would say give it a try but chances are if you are in as bad of shape as I am, this is not going to be much help and it's a pain dealing with the charger and refunding issues.

For some background, I grew up traveling and never got motion sick. I spent weekends on boats and riding backwards in station wagons. Never had a problem. Suddenly in my 30s, I can't look at a canoe without getting seasick. I've tried most of what's out there and resolved myself to the idea that I had two choices: get sick or sleep from medication. I had a trip coming up that involved commercial flight, private planes, buses, limos, and riding in the back of trucks. With meetings in between each. Basically, I had no time to be sick. So I bought the reliefband Thankfully, it worked, I didn't get sick or feel motion sick at all. It was pretty amazing. On one of the private flights, the pilot thought it was hilarious to bank the jet and play around. I prepared myself to barf, but nothing happened, I was totally fine. Normally, this trip would have destroyed me. And I didn't have any issues with battery life or charging. The proprietary charger is a dumb idea and it's super delicate, but it worked fine. You definitely have to confirm it's connected and charging. And one charge would last me a 12 hour day of travel Now the bad... it only worked if I had it on a very specific spot on my wrist. And the band would not hold it in that place on its own. And if I shifted my arm, had to readjust. This was fine for air travel where I could sit in a seat and not move my arm or hold it in place with my other arm. I 100% would not trust this on a fishing trip offshore. There is no way it would stay in place and hit the nerve while moving around on a boat and actually trying to fish. Otherwise I highly recommend as long as you understand there are some significant design flaws in a $300 device that best I can tell is just designed from a PT stim machine

I'll start by saying that I overall like this product and I'm glad I have it. I have found that this product significantly reduces any effects of car sickness for me. It doesn't necessarily eliminate feelings of sickness completely in all circumstances (think- sitting in the backseat on an incredibly windy road for over an hour), but it will greatly reduce symptoms. I previously had one of the cheaper models which functionally and comfort-wise I liked a lot more, but the issue was that I'm severely allergic to nickel. I got this upgraded model instead because it is made with surgical steel, so I don't have any contact reactions to the metal plates. The downsides are this: 1) The charging cord is finicky and unnecessarily short. You have to get the placement EXACTLY RIGHT for the charger to stay connected and charge the device, which is hard to do when the cord is SO short. The manufacturers really need to rethink this aspect of the design. 2) The band is a bit challenging to put on tightly solo. You need tight contact with your skin for the device to work. It can be done, but it takes some practice and adjustment to get it right, especially if you don't have someone to help you. 3) This is kind of a continuation of #2, but the band can be somewhat uncomfortable to wear. the top part of the band, where the interface is, is really wide and doesn't have any flex. If you have small wrists, like me, it can be hard to tighten the band enough to get the plates to press against your skin, as needed, and I think this is due to the width and inflexibilty of the interface. That said, it doesn't make the bracelet very comfortable wear. It's not unbearable, I just think it's awkward and stiff feeling. If they made one of their other models with surgical steel plates, I'd probably buy another one of those instead since they're way more comfortable. That being said, I've found this to be the best anti-nausea alternative to taking meclazine. I'd rather wear a stiff bracelet on my wrist than be sick to my stomach, so I'll take it! Still, a lot of negatives for a device that's so expensive. I'd recommend only purchasing it if it's on sale. If you're not allergic to nickel, get one of the cheaper models.
