Works great on powering my 3090 TI. I needed 3 PCIE power connectors for the GPU but the PSU only comes with 2 of them. I haven't overclocked it or had any intention on overclocking the card but the cable hasn't had any issues supplying power in games that push my GPU to 100% usage.

PSU modular cables aren’t standardized so do your homework to ensure this will work with your power supply. I triple checked the cable before powering up. I looked up the manufacturer tech sheet for the outputs on the PSU side. Then once the cable arrived I did continuity testing on the cable to have high confidence that the standard PCIE end’s ground, and 12 volt outputs lined up with the PSU outputs. The psu side plug is compatible with my Cooler Master MWE gold 550w v2. The GPU I connected powered up first try with no issues.

I have a GP-P1000GM and it works well, don't know it works with all Gigabyte psu, but at least for my model (and probably the little brothers in this line, you know, the exploding models) it works. The quality of the cable is not that great, i mean, the ones that came with my psu seems to be way better. Also, for my first time buying things in Amazon, (19 orders (and a lot more items) in the last five years), one item was missing (bought two cables), received two bags in the packaging but only one of them had a cable, so it seems more like a mistake from the seller than a stole, but i'm just guessing and amazon refund it so i won't give a star less for that.

Was skeptical at first, and put faith in product description that it was compatible with my PSU. Appears to be a quality piece and worked as expected. Do some research before you put power to anything.

The problem with new power supplies is that they don't provide enough GPU connectors for the number of slots they can accomodate. I fixed my problem easily with this power cable adapter. It worked perfectly on my Gigabyte GP-P750GM. I should have bought more, but I was initially worried about compatibility. I highly recommend these for the deep machine learning or mining rigs.

Hey this worker well for my RM1000 which is a type 3, according to Corsair the only difference between type 3 & type 4 is the ATX cable. So this should work for any Type 3or 4 PSU. Do your research. I only used the 6pins so I assume the 8 is also working.

Does not work with a Cooler Master V850. Paired with an MSI 3080 12gb and PC will not boot up with this PCIE cable.
