Yes this product is 50,000iu. It is a chewable tablet with a sweet orange flavor. However, I was prescribed this by my doctor because I have Crohn's disease and sometimes my vitamin D level drops drastically due to lack of the colon to absorb the vitamins I need to remain healthy. I would not order this unless of course your doctor has told you to order them because you are lacking in Vitamin D. If not there could be irreversible damage to certain organs of your body. I would highly recommend to go to your doctor and have blood work done before ordering this product, unless of course you have already been ordered by your doctor to order this specific.

Does this product contain sugar?

It has dextrose but not enough to matter.My Dr recommended this for me and I am a type 1 diabetic.
