Does the job!
My story is the same as that of others that have reviewed here. We saw water on the floor around our LG front-loading washer. We'd just washed a large comforter, and sometimes those things soak up a lot of water and get heavy and throw things off a bit so I figured it was just a temporary thing. But as water continued to leak I figured it was time to take a look inside the machine. Getting into the machine is pretty easy: - use a Phillips head screwdriver to remove the screws from the washer's lid (two screws at the upper back) - slide the washer lid back a bit and then you'll be able to pull it up and off the washer Verify the water leak is coming from the valve. The valve should be wet. You might see water filling up at the hole at the top depending on how the valve broke. That's what was happening in my washer. Did a little searching and found this baby on Amazon for cheap. The repair will take you all of 15 minutes, if that. Here's what I did (apologies for the mansplaining, but maybe it'll help the uninitiated): - unplug the washer from electricity - turn off the water to the machine - unscrew the hot water hose from faulty valve's connector at the back of the washer - use the Phillips screwdriver to unfasten the faulty valve's screws from the rear of the washer - pull the electric connector off the faulty valve - use pliers to open the interior hot water line clamp and slide it down the hose a bit away from the faulty valve - pull the hot water line off the faulty valve - the faulty valve should now be free of any connection to the washer and you can remove and dispose of it - reverse the steps to install the new valve (connect the interior water line and its hose clamp, affix the electric connector on the new valve, screw the new valve onto the back of the washer, put the washer lid back on, reconnect the exterior hot water hose, turn the water back on, plug the washer back in) You can also probably find videos on valve replacement that will help. I have no idea what a plumber or appliance repair person would charge for this but if you can do it yourself it's a cheap and easy fix. I wish they were all this way! Thanks to LG and Amazon.

Works great, fixed a leaky washer!
The old original part is on the left, the new one is on the right. Light plastic is original, dark plastic is new. My washer had started leaking and we couldn't figure out from where. After taking off the top and running a cycle, I was able to see soon as the hot water started, this valve would leak right at the base of the white cylinder thing. Even after taking it apart and attempting to clean all the seals and whatnot, it still would leak, so luckily Amazon had an official LG replacement part! This is super easy to swap out. Just two screws, an electrical connector, and a rubber hose, and it's out. Swapped everything to the new one and ran a cycle before putting the top back on to make sure it didn't leak. Sure enough, everything worked great! No more leaks! The only difference I could see if the bracket you screw onto the washing machine was a slight different size, but the screw holes still lined up so no worries there. The little built in filter thing looked slightly different too, but again it seemed fine and it works great. Hard to beat for the price. So glad this was able to be swapped easily!

Works like a champ (5 months out now) and Easy to Install
Replaced this hot water inlet valve on my LG washer in August (now 5 months later) and it hasn't failed yet. Fit perfectly and easy to do. Now I'm replacing the cold water side and am looking for the same brand.

Works as expected
We noticed some mystery leaking on our LG washer and traced it back to a leaky intake valve. A few years ago I had to replace the cold valve for the same reason but this time it was the hot valve. Installation only took 5-10 minutes and it worked perfectly once I got the hot water hose hooked up - much easier than the cold valve replacement. That being said I really had to crank down on the water hose to get it to seal without leaking - my only complaint about the valve. I was worried I may crack the plastic given the amount of torque I was putting on it but it held up. Probably mostly my fault as I didnโt change out the gasket on the hose which was a few years old. In any case, it seems to be working well and we havenโt had any leaks after several washes.

This is a EASY DYI job. save a ton of money by doing it yourself
This is a hot water solenoid for the LG washer and I got it just to have as I had to replace my cold water 3 in one solenoid unit. I figured it will likely leak soon like 2 of the 3 cold water one did. Gave it 1 4 star even though I haven't installed it yet.

Perfect WM2233HW LG Elect Front loader fix hot water inlet part
Our model WM2233HW LG front loading washing machine was constantly filling up with water, even after it stopped running or was sitting unused. Opened door and it was so high it all came flooding out. Some error code FoE maybe, I dont recall. A little googling and video it was likely inlet valves. Ordered this for hot inlet. Took off a few screws on back top, slid the top of washer toward back to get out from the front lip to take it off. You can see how corroded they were. Disconnect connectors (plastic clear things), disconnect hose (keep track order). Unscrew two screws, put new one in done. Replaced the cold on it too. Reversed order put everything back together. Works great now, no flooding.

Fits LG model WM2650HWA
Our 11 yr old LG washer (model # WM2650HWA) was starting to leak water into the drum while not in use. We would find the drum partial filled with water in the morning. After researching the problem on line it looked like the cold water inlet valve was bad (part # 5220FR2075L). So we found the part that went in our machine and ordered it through Amazon. We decided to go ahead and replace the hot water inlet valve too since the machine was over 10 years old and we were going to have the top off replacing the cold water inlet valve. So we found this valve for our machine (part # 5220FR2006H) and it fit perfectly. So glad we decided to replace it also as it was full of sediment too. It has been 3 days since we replaced both valves and so far no more leaking water. I'll update this review if anything changes.

I will definitely recommended to buy this part on this site
I contacted LG for this part and I was told "no problem but our technician must install it just for $130 per hour!!. I checked on Amazon, I found it. The part came on time, very very fast. I installed it in 10 min and it is done. The washer is working perfectly. WoW! Sincere thanks. I will definitely recommended to buy this part on this site.
