QEH1410 Infrared Quartz Heater, Oak

This is a fabulous little heater. It works on a thermostat and does a good job heating my living room. It has a nice safety feature that I really like. If one of my dogs bumps into it and knocks it off balance even just a little it shuts off completely.

giving it 4 but we didn't receive it- got lost in shipping- but we had one similar before and it lasted several years- 6 years anyways without any problems- wish we had received this one- got lost about 1/2 to our state in a warehouse apparently- IF it would have arrived and lasted like the last one- it would be a great heater- our living area is about 14x24 or so- maybe a bit larger- and it keeps the room pretty toasty in -20 f degree weather and higher- any colder, and not much really helps except cranking up the house furnace- with this heater though, it cuts down on fuel oil for furnace-

It works really well and is very easy to move between rooms. The finish on the heater looks great. And the size is just perfect for small and large areas in the room.

When it did work, it was a pretty good heater. However, it quit working after 2 months of moderate use. Junk

I purchased this for my daughter who lives in a very small house. They use the garage as a family room. The room has no heat. They are thrilled with the heater as it heats up the whole garage.

I bought this heater to replace an EdenPure that has a bad thermostat. Right out of the box this heater also has a broken thermostat. It either runs full speed or you turn it off. A waste of time and money for me. It seems I am not the only one with this problem. The simulated wood finish is nice. However the idiots put these giant yellow stickers all over it that you can not remove without destroying the finish. My biggest complaint is that you can not even clean the filter without tools and a lot of time. I can remove and clean the filter 20 times on an EdenPure in the time it takes just to remove the filter on this one.

The heater works, it warms a room nicely. The extremely loud beeps that occurs with each button press (waking the rest of the house from sleep) or the beep that happens when it shuts off… just ridiculous… easily would be a four star product, and tempted to give it two stars just for the huge inconvenience of the beeps… smh.

The heater works perfectly, it produces heat in matters of seconds. Emits an average of 53 decibel (I emit 80 decibel when I speak) and the sound is low, so it kinda phases out eventually. The heater by itself deserve a 5 star rating, but I only gave it 4 stars because someone at the factory had the amazingly stupid idea to put stickers on the top wood surface (therefore the most visible one). I actually really wanted to rate it 3 stars, but I figured that consumers might miss a great heater based on that rating. I can't believe the company didn't foresee that buyers of that heater are willing to pay the asked price in good part because of the good esthetic of the furniture and that putting stickers on the top surface would leave hard to remove stains. To sum up, also order wood furniture glue remover when buying this heater.
