My daughter (7) bought this action cam with her own money she saved. It's nice. Cam and accessories seem like good quality. She has only been using it for less than a month because she had to wait to get an SD card. Well... it freezes up constantly! She can hardly use it. We all get so frustrated because we constantly have to remove the battery. She's pretty disappointed especially since she paid for it with her own money! I gave it two stars reluctantly. Only because it seems like other than the softwear it would be a decent action cam!

Image quality is on par with the higher end cameras, audio is ok, and the controls are a little quirky but all and all a great buy for the money! All the accessories appear to be compatible with my high end action camera. The one thing you we notice out of the box is that the battery life on this camera falls very short of the name brand cameras. Not a small difference but a 3 to 4 times shorter life out of the Lightdow than the name brand camera, but that is why this camera is 10x cheaper so deal with it or spend $500.

I use the bejesus out of this thing. Great camera for the cost. Tons of features for video and pictures. I use this as my ground camera for my vlogs on YouTube. CANNOT BEAT IT WITH A STICK! I mean you can but it'll probably stop working

Absolutely perfect for the price and the quality almost resembles that of a GoPro

  Most 4K cameras today are either expensive, or shoot at a very low frame rate, which makes them too slow to shoot smooth videos. This camera shoots at an impressive 24 frames per second, which is the same frame rate as traditional Hollywood movies.I was given a discounted price to be one of the first people to test and review this camera and I was completely impressed by the video quality. It did have a few minor issues, but overall the positives outweigh the negatives.PROS:- The 4K video quality was excellent. I have a 5K iMac With Retina display, and the videos were outstanding.- Size: This camera is about the same size as the GoPro camera. It's small enough to clip on just about anything.- Built-in display. Unlike some sport cameras, this camera has a screen in the back, which makes it easier to change settings and see what you're shooting.- Accessories. The package includes a LOT of accessories, including a waterproof case, mounting clips and straps, etc.- Sound quality. Although I shot my demonstration using my own external recorder, I expected the original mic to be weak, but it turned out to be pretty good.- Multiple shooting options. Among other things you can do time lapse, continuous single shots, HDR, and timer shooting.CONS:- Low light was grainy. Keep in mind that like most sport cameras, this camera is mainly for use outside, so this shouldn't be a problem.- Minor firmware issues. I discovered that some firmware settings prevent you from shooting 4K video. I realized that turning "Continuous Loop" OFF disables 4K shooting. Turning it back on fixes it.I hope this review was helpful.
