I’m using these filters with my ice machine, and they fit perfectly and work great. The water tastes clean and fresh, and my ice comes out crystal clear every time. I appreciate the high-quality construction and the fact that they’re NSF/ANSI 42 certified, so I know they’re actually reducing chlorine taste and odor. Installation was quick and easy, and the filters last a good amount of time before needing replacement. Definitely a solid choice for keeping both my ice machine and water in top shape.

These work pretty well. I use these in a portable system to remove sediment for water cooled equipment. So far, they flow very well for a 1 micron filter. I sampled the water after going through the filter and it tasted good. That's saying a lot because I use well water with a fair amount of sediment and minerals. I was somewhat disappointed with the filter fit. I used this in a filter housing I've used for a while. Every other 21/2 x 10 filter I have used in it fits well. These filters were too short by about .100". I even tried to tighten the filter cup tighter but I was afraid it might break. I had to add a .100 thick rubber washer at one end to seal the filter to the housing. I had 3 of these filters and I did try a second one and it was also too short. Once I applied the washer there were no issues. These are good filters but when you tighten the filter cup be aware of a loose fit in the housing.

I replace them every month, and the recommended filter capacity is every 3,000–5,000 gallons, which works well for my household. Since switching to these filters, I’ve noticed a big improvement in water taste and a reduction in buildup in my appliances and faucets. Even though my municipal tap water is already well-filtered, these raise the bar and make a noticeable difference. They’ve earned a permanent spot on my Subscribe & Save list. The only minor issue is that out of every 8 filters, there’s usually one where the plastic mesh isn’t installed correctly—but it’s easy to fix by reinstalling it myself. For the price and performance, this is a fantastic value. These parts fit my filter system perfectly. I have a well with a lot of sulfur. these filters reduce the smell and taste quite well.
