On a cloth we applied a layer , tied the glove with a ball enclosed over a few days . We repeated 3 times & it developed a rounded pocket & the glove was easy to hold . It darkened the leather slightly but not alot . We didn’t even use the whole bottle , I’d say it was a good value & did a good job on the glove . The leather feels supple & conditioned . Very convenient to use with a snap top .

**Q: For an old Rawlings glove sitting in drawer for 15 years, how long or repeated seasoning for glove to be softened, ready to play?**
A: This glove oil will breakdown and soften the leather quickly. You may want to use it along with less aggressive oils like mink oil on the back of the glove and non creased areas

**Q: How much do you use to break in a glove? Or another way to ask, how many gloves would this bottle be good for?**
A: A four-ounce bottle like this is enough for lots of gloves if you primarily oil the hinge, palm, and pocket (as most good players do). You don't need much oil for each glove, and it's better to use too little than too much (you can always add more you if you feel it's needed). If you're the type who likes to oil the entire glove and prefers a heavier, floppier, totally-soaked glove, one bottle's probably good for one to two gloves.

**Q: Does anybody know if this product can be used as conditioner for driving gloves?**
A: I don't see why you couldn't. I would do a little test spot first, then do the entire gloves.

**Q: Do you clean (how?) the glove first before applying this oil? Thank you.**
A: If the glove is filthy, or covered in soil, yes, but allow it to dry before applying the oil.  Otherwise, just apply.
