Found that the hook parts where quite small for butt ends/handles and if the reel was on it would press again wallI added a 2by2 between the wall and rack this helped but still a bit small

    The rod butt won't fit over the lip - Design fault

Apart from the top lip, the gap between all the others is too small and does not allow for the butt of a rod to fit. Because most of the weight is in the butt, and particularly if you have a made up rod with a reel, it's going to be too imbalanced.It's ok, but this is an obvious design fault.
