It comes with one lite ball to use but you can purchase three different kinds of balls to use. The HSG14, HSO14, and HSW14.

What battery would you recommend to use this where there is no outlet?

Any battery that can generate 200 Watts worth.

can it be used with real baseballs ?

I wouldn't. We bought ours for our 9 year old son and it works great. The baseball's it uses are much lighter. Real baseball's would probably limit the range and wear the motor out.

Can u use tennis balls?

It is not recommended to use any other balls except for the ones that are designed for it as you can damage the motor.
