VAUDE Men's Spray Jacket IV - Lightweight Waterproof Bike Jacket with Pack Bag - Men's Rain Jacket for Cycling

Was looking to replace my Vaude Pace eVent breathable/minimalist rainjacket. Spray IV is a good substitute so far. The breathability of the Ceplex Advanced on this Spray IV is not as good as eVent- because NOTHING is as good as eVent at breathability. However, I guess this not bad so far.They have added a front pocket, and loosened the fit very slightly- I'd say the Pace was almost a true race-cut, the Spray IV is more like slim-cut- it's not baggy junk (I'm 6', 170, 40.5" chest and wearing a L). Vaude's detailing and zippering is very nicely finished. There is some very aggressive pricing in some colors and sizes, I'd say this is fair enough at retail, but at the rates I'm seeing ($30?!) I recommend it for sure.

I like the waterproof-ness of the jacket. It seals out water pretty well, been in a few good storms the last couple months since I've purchased this in August. It gets hot inside, no air flow. I'm not too confident about the inside lining, it's the same as the Spray Pants I bought last year which I recently edited my review to say it's tearing/torn.

LOW QUALITY MATERIAL, FEW MONTHS the jacket was brocken

Really nice jacket, just the right weight for cool mornings and rainy afternoons. Perfectly waterproof but still breathes well. Stays in place around wrists and waist.

I'm 1.98m/88kg and XL seems to fit perfectly and somehow fit, the sleeves are long enough.

Nice fit, waterproof, moderately breathable, packs down to fit a back pocket just about, pleased for the price

First impression was little bit too small but at the end ok, it is kind of slim fit, breathebility and water resistance perfect, tested in so far 1 hr heavy rain.

Pro:1. ziemlich wasserundurchlässig2. Ärmel sind bei der Jacke (endlich) mal lang genug...Con:1. Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist doch etwas überzogen ...2. eine einzige, kleine Brusttasche (passt fast nichts rein - ist die für Kondome konzipiert?!)3. dadurch, dass keinerlei Luft-Löcher vorhanden sind, schwitzt man unter dieser Jacke extrem... )4. es liegt noch nicht einmal eine Kapuze bei - bei dem Preis, sollte man das eigentlich annehmen, aber ist leider nicht...Hätte sie fast zurück geschickt, aber habe andererseits keine ähnlich wasserundurchlässige Jacke finden können.Man muss eben auch Kompromisse eingehen...

Seit zwanzig Jahren nun in der 4. Auflage wie gewohnt gute Qualität für den täglichen Einsatzps: für Menschen die zum ersten Mal eine Regenjacke kaufen: keine Jacke hält Wasser draußen und leitet die Feuchtigkeit nach außen ab, es geht nur eines von beiden. Vaude Produkte sind durchdacht und von Radfahrern für Radfahrer gemacht. Hält aus Erfahrung einige Jahre bei intensiver Nutzung.

Absolut toll.....Das Herrenmodell Gr. S ist für Damen Gr. 36 top . Ob biken, wandern .... Im Rucksack immer dabei , täglich die Radfahrt zu Arbeit gesichert .Absolut guter Sitz , dicht und eine perfekte Bewegungsfreiheit auch an kälteren Tagen mit einer Kleidungsschicht drunter .Kaputze muss nun gesondert bestellt werden , aber das weiß man ja vorher .Sehr zu empfehlen .
