Rock solid with shims
Looks great, very sturdy and useful too. Crossmember is 25.4mm and bottom crossmember is 25.4mm. I wanted to use the bottom so the handlebars are taller so I got 25.4-31.8mm aluminum shims. Risk solid. Never moves.

Great handlebar basket!
I searched forever for a basket to convert my mountain bike to a city cruiser. This handlebar basket finally won out for my choice installation, and I am very satisfied with how it turned out. It's a great product.

Very versatile and well built
I converted my 30 year old mountain bike into an ebike for commuting. This handlebar setup is perfect for a commuting or urban bike, which is my goal. Having two sizes of handlebar clamp options it a cool feature that allows some versatility if you want to change bikes. It's solid as a rock using the 25.5mm mount and imagine the 31.8mm mount would be equally as good, if not better.

Really really love this thing
Really really love this thing. Super solid, great build. I just wish they had an XL version!! My Sondors bike is huge, and this thing isn't. Still love it, but I wish there was a giant option that was deeper and bigger.

Great way to add a front basket to a bike
It adds a front basket to a bike. It raises your handlebars up a bit. It's wonderful. Wish they make a waterproof bag that perfectly fit inside it to hold a laptop.

Just what I needed
I wanted to make a hybrid-style bike I own into more of an errand runner. I don't particularly care for rear racks, so this seemed like a good option for a front rack, which it did turn out to be. It is much lighter than I expected, and seems very well made. It had little, if any, impact on steering or ride comfort for me (your results may vary). Obviously, it won't carry massive amounts of groceries, etc., but it seems that for those quick runs to the supermarket or when you need to schlepp a bunch of smaller stuff somewhere, it will do the job well. Quite pleased with this.

First the good stuff: This is the best handlebar with an ...
This would have been a five-star product except for one fairly serious flaw. I'll get to that.First, what am I mounting it on? A couple of other reviewers put them on a Sondors ebike and my ebike is made up of all Sondors parts I had left over after upgrading my Sondors... so that includes the Sondors stem. Plus this ebike is effectively the same (fat bike with 4.9" Chaoyang Big Daddies), bottle battery etc.).First the good stuff: This is the best handlebar with an integrated basket that you are going to find on the market. I mounted on the larger 31.8 portion of the bar up top. The tubing is thick and welded to the bars... you will never have any questions about the strength of the basket. The base of the basket is a thinner wire that is also perfectly strong and stable. The tubing is actually thick enough that you can build it up just a bit with common bar reducer bits and then put things like handlebar mounts on the tubes. I put my headlight mounts up forward in this way so the basket does not interfere with my night lighting of the road. The basket is an excellent size. You can see in the second pic I have a bag of chips safely tucked in there, separated from all of the groceries stuffed into my other bags. this rack keeps the chips in one piece, and on Costco runs, it also is exactly big enough for two loaves of bread, saving them from the crush of the rear bags as well.Note in the pictures I have an elastic cargo net surrounding the rack. I chose the Powertye 15x15 net with 2"x2" squares. It is perfect to cover the top AND the bottom of the rack (so you can suspend stuff underneath the rack, like a pump. Or a pound of sliced ham). Here's a link to the net: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0022ZXO40/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1So whats the bad news here? Unfortunately its pretty bad: See how the bar handles pull back towards the rider? That's kind of a good thing for an upright position you'd think, at first. Unfortunately it also creates a lever whose opposite end is your handlebar stem. If you make the mistake of doing the very common thing of standing up on the pedals and leaning over the bars to, say, stretch or just enjoy the different position... the bars may slip downwards since you have that lever going on now. Also it can happen if you hit a really solid bump in the street at speed (remember I am riding an ebike so I could be traveling at 22-25 mph). Formerly said bumps were to be avoided, but if you hit one it was a non issue. Lastly, one time I had to lift the front wheel up so I could take the bike from the street up onto the sidewalk. Whats the thing you naturally do? You pull up on the bars to pop the wheel up over the curb... well that didn't end so well. I know all about torqueing screws to their proper ratings.I use a torque wrench so torque is proper. I also went WAY past that torque value when this problem started to occur. I have my fingers crossed but honestly I no longer trust the bars to maintain position. And once they start slipping I wonder if its not going to be easier and easier as time goes on.So... docking two stars for what is a problem now, and could end up being a problem that has no acceptable solution. Its too bad because these are excellent bars in every other respect.

Very happy.
I am very pleased with this item. I was a little hesitant with the curve in the top bar. I am more accustomed to a straight mountain bike style handle bar, but the functionality of the basket won me over. I installed it myself on my e-bike and particularly like the large gap in the metal mesh allowing for all the cables to pass through. I am so glad I found this item.
