Elizabeth McCormack
This is an interesting book about Elizabeth Mc Cormack. I was fortunate enough to go to Manhattanville when she was there. She was a great person and a source of inspiration to all.

A Mulifacated Journey
Interesting as I knew her as Mother McCormick in College. It is always interesting to hear what people who were in Religious life do when they leave and why the leave. The writing was stiff.

She was the best teacher in our school
Fascinating book written by former nun from the Madames of the Sacred Heart. She was the best teacher in our school. Her evolution away from the order mesmerized me.

Hard to decide how many stars to give this book. Judging on the quality of the writing alone, it would be one or two stars. This woman deserved a book with a longer editing process than this book had. One problem is that the book is very repetitious. Obviously, the author does not trust you to remember on page 20 what he told you on page 10.Judging on the topic alone, I would give the book four stars. I was sent to Manhattanville in the sixties and hated the place but made many life-long friends of the wonderful women who were my classmates. I read with interest of the unraveling of Mother McCormick's life and the unraveling of the Manhattanville I had known. I would have like a more insightful look at the evolution of her spiritual life.
