Jebao Doser 2.4 WIFI 4-Channel Auto Dosing Pump for Saltwater Reef Aquarium

Great doser for the money. Wifi model is so much easier to program. Has been running perfectly for a couple months now. Initial setup of the Wifi process is clear in the directions but I did have to try to connect a couple of times. Good to go now.Note of advice:Make sure your liquid supply jug is lower than the dosing dispense point so if a pump fails to hold pressure it won't drain the whole jug into your tank. So far so good with model ...but the older non-wifi model that I have does loose holding pressure sometimes. Until I can afford something like the Ecotech Versa I'm happy to check this pump to make sure it's working every few days. Like I said this model hasn't givin me any problems though. It's been running perfectly.

Just awful... Everything about this dosing pump was terrible... it feels like a cheap plastic toy... the app is garbage, kept crashing... the pump would not connect to wifi... gave up on connecting to the app, so I figured I would just program with the buttons... the buttons on the pump itself were like push the button 3 times, and it registered one... after being plugged in for about an hour, the display started flickering.... I have tried jebao wave pumps in the past, also had problems with them, then they completely died after 4 months.... maybe it's just been bad luck, and I got a faulty unit... But now after this experience with this pump, I'm never going to "try" a jebao product again... DONE !!! 00000 stars

In order to get the Wi-Fi to connect to this dosing pump I first had to download the app for my wireless router. That gave me access to the router controls. I then shut off the 5G so that my router was using only 2.4 Hz. Then I set up the pump and turned the 5G back on. After set up the pump worked perfectly and was very easy to program. I’m very happy with the purchase.

I had no problem connecting this pu p to my wifi and setting it up. I downloaded the Jebao Aqua app to my iPhone, plugged the doser in, and followed the instructions in the app. It was connected to my wifi in under 3 minutes. my dosed liquids are 4ft under my tank, and this pump is able to lift them and dose no problem. The app isn't the most full-featured, but it's certainly nice to be able to control it from anywhere. The app lacks the ability to note what each channel is dosing, doesn't keep a running chart of what it has dosed and when, and the calibration didn't work correctly for me. But checking it through the manual controls worked fine. Comes with an extra pump head in the box. This isn't the Cadillac that the Neptune Dos is, but for half the price and twice the dosing heads, it's a great choice for most aquarists that will provide decently accurate dosing.

Can't connect to the app.bhas to be controlled manually. Works fine but wasn't easy

It's working as expected ..have some feedback on app when selecting things but that is just Software thing can be fixed

Had it for 15 minutes and this thing is rad. WiFi setup done in a snap and updated time and date automatically.Programming could be easier with a copy and paste. I like to dose every hour. For the price totally worth it. We will see how long it lasts. I think more and more people are to starting to see that Jebao is way different than they used to. Don’t get me wrong..... the instructions are just plain awful STILL, but my other equipment “is” “has” taken a beating and still as quiet and efficient as the day I purchased.

I just purchased this and received it yesterday and I am already writing a review!!! NOT GOOD! I was so hopeful for this unit and was excited to be able to use a wifi unit for my nano tank stand. I was hoping to have the wifi access to set up and make adjustments without having to pull the unit in and out like the original DP-4 non wifi unit. I originally purchased the 3.4 unit. That's the small red and white unit but had to return it back to the vendor I purchased it from because it had lived up to its bad reputation on not connected to wifi. So, I ordered this unit hoping it would be better and may possibly connect but in the event that it didn't, I could use it manually like the original DP4. WELL....... this did the very same thing!!! It would not connect or even find any type of 2.4 GHz connection. I tried so many different configurations. Even setting up a guest wifi and it still wouldn't even search or find anything. I am very very disappointed with this unit. The most polite way I could say this is that the software they have in this unit, including their app, is a big piece of fecal matter!! Their wifi and app is absolutely terrible. For the people that have been able to get them (the 3.4 red/white or this one 2.4) to connect to their wifi networks, you are extremely lucky. I wish I was able to enjoy the features since that was the whole reason why I bought it. After lots of frustration and fowl words I had to resign myself to the fact that I would just have to use the manual system. On the positive note, it is smaller than the original DP4 (I haven't owned but have seen) and its not a total loss as I can just use it manually. I haven't been able to use it yet so I cant speak to its reliability or anything . I have just been fighting to get this thing to try to connect any way possible. SO, if you decide to purchase this item, just be aware that you may be one of the casualties of people that cannot get the unit to connect to your home WIFI.
