Amazing results! I noticed in a photo that my favorite black purse was looking...gray! Since I wear it always with the zipper pocket out, it had faded on one side. I didn't want to replace it, and found the drtulz recoloring balm here. I wish I had taken before and after photos, showing the difference between the faded and unfaded sides, and what it looks like after using the balm. My husband says the recolored side looks better than the unfaded side now! Easy to use, with everything you need in the kit. 2 tips: a knife is not necessary to open the seal: use a push-pin to tear it open and then remove the deal with your (gloved) hands. Also, be sure to cover your work surface with paper or old cloth you don't mind staining. I am quite pleased with it.

So let me start off by saying that my brother in law generously offered his leather recliner couch to us since our couch was in rough shape and he was going to replace his anyway. I am super thankful, but when it arrived at our house, both my husband and I were secretly disappointed. While the bones of the couch were there and it was super comfortable, it had clearly been well loved and had a lot of worn patches on the couch. Enter this recoloring balm. You HAVE to check out the before and after photos of the couch. It is honestly like a brand new couch. We didn't even tell my brother in law we were going to try it out but after we did, my husband doesn't even want to send him pictures of it because he is worried he will take it back from us! It is THAT GOOD! Some tips-follow the directions on the side of the box to a T. They are very accurate and it came out great. It comes with gloves-use them. The balm will eventually make its way all through the included sponge and it will get all over your hands. Very easy to was off your hands, but still cuts down on the mess. The "brush" isn't really a brush. I was expecting something with bristles, but it is almost like a spatula that makes a different in the application. It allows you to coat the spots better than scrimping and just reusing what is on the sponge. Apply generous amounts and then work it in with the sponge in a circular motion. Does not take a long time to dry. The directions say wait 10 minutes before buffing with the included buffer. That's also accurate. The color of the balm looked a little bit purple in the jar, but went on perfectly on the couch and blended in seamlessly, even though I did not need to all areas of the couch. It does not stand out like if you try and paint only one spot on a wall. I can't say how much of a fan of this I am. I highly recommend it and wish I had bought a larger amount of it because I have another chair I want to try it on. I was able to take care of some pretty serious wear and tear with about half of the jar and I applied generous amounts. Definitely worth the value.

This worked amazingly, I’ll definitely be buying again. I purchased this chair based on photos online, and although it was advertised as black, the leather was actually a very dark brown when it arrived. I ordered this product to darken the leather to black, and the results exceeded my expectations. I applied it to the front side and seat of the chair first, let it dry overnight, then completed the back and underside the next day. The product was very easy to use and applied evenly. The color came out rich and deep without looking painted or stiff. I especially loved that it came with a buffing pad. After buffing, the arms of the chair developed a beautiful smooth finish with a soft sheen that looks much more high-end and restored. I still plan to add a leather protector and do a little more buffing to get the entire chair as smooth as the arms, but overall I’m extremely happy with the transformation.

This is a wonderful product. I used it repair/refinish my really old steering wheel and it was really wasy to use and worked great. You can't get more amuture than me, so this is idiot proof. However. Removing the foil seal from the jar like a cruel punishment from jigsaw. There was no pull tab so you had to stab into the jar with something. Then the thick dye was stuck to the thin foil like a floopy sloggy disaster ribbion that got all over me and the car on it's way to the trash can. The gloves were ruined on step zero before I even started. Thankfully clean up was easy and it came off all the plastic in my car with a swipe, because it was looking like I fought a squid in my car and lost. Still a great product just use Dexter's lab setup to open. The color after one coat was perfectly balck would use again.

I was shocked at how well this Recoloring Balm worked on our two 9 year old couches. They look mint. Do light gentle coats. You will be amazed. I wish I took before pictures.

I grabbed this hoping it would revive some tired black leather, and the color payoff is actually impressive. It goes on smooth, dries fast, and definitely makes faded spots look richer and more even. For scratches and light wear, it does exactly what it promises. But for deeper cracks? Not its strongest area. It darkens them so they’re less noticeable, but it doesn’t fill or smooth them the way the listing makes it sound. Think “make it look better,” not “erase the problem entirely.” Still, for quick touch‑ups and refreshing color, it’s solid — just don’t expect it to perform miracles on cracked leather. Wow! a small amount did two chairs!! The chairs look so new! I was very skeptical but I was reading the reviews and they looked legit enough. I'm glad I ordered 3! Maybe I can make a few bucks revitalizing other peoples cars lol. Went on easy with the enclosed silicone spreader and sponge. It comes with a buffing pad to blend any streaks. I expected to use the whole small can but was amazed how a little bit went a long way. I can't get over how well it covered over so many nasty different depth scratches. I highly recommend!!

This product is amazing. I was given a well-used leather couch. The photo included with this review shows the arm of the couch. One area completed with the leather repair balm and the other end of the couch arm not yet completed. The couch arm that was conditioned was in worse condition than balance of the couch arm prior to application of the balm. It looks like new. I can’t wait to complete the balance of the entire couch. Product is easy to apply. I highly recommend.

Compré un sillón de piel italiano pero tenía una mancha terrible y muy visible. Este bálsamo funcionó bastante bien para renovar el sillón, la mancha ni se nota, requirió 2 botecitos y dos manos. Una buena inversión a mí parecer.

Ease of application to the leather sofa. Results are satisfactory. Delivery period if shortened to 2 weeks or so instead of 4 weeks would be better.

Excellent product works really well easy to use, repairs and softens leather may need more than one coat but can acquire very good finish.

My sofa became as brand new after using this I also used it for my car steering wheel.. 100/100 🙌

J'ai utilisé ce produit sur mes sièges d'auto, résultat très bon et belle finissions sur le cuir. Je ne sais pas à long terme à suivre.
