The rapid 144 Hz screen refresh rate minimises image lag and motion blur for smoother gaming. The user-friendly 60 Hz/120 Hz settings let you quickly optimise performance via the on-screen display without having to access the display setting menu. With approximately 1.7 times more pixels than Full HD, WQHD resolution displays game scenes and characters in captivating detail. And with a wider view than equivalent-sized lower resolution monitors, WQHD lets you spot your enemies before they see you. AMD FreeSync synchronises the refresh rate of your graphics card and monitor to reduce image tear and stutter. And Low Input Lag minimises the delay between mouse, keyboard or joystick input and on-screen response for a seamlessly smooth gaming experience. Low Input Lag is so low that no sooner than when you turn your screen on will the action appear, giving you full control of your game in no time. The CJG5’s Game Mode instantly optimises black gamma levels, contrast ratios, sharpness and colour value settings for any game genre or movie. Samsung’s VA panel technology supports a 3000:1 contrast ratio that delivers deeper blacks, brighter whites and richer colours for clearer, more vibrant movie and game scenes. ## Features - WQHD 2560x1440 - With up to 1.7 times the pixel density of Full HD, WQHD only delivers incredibly detailed, pin-sharp images - Fine Control with 144 Hz - The rapid 144 Hz screen refresh rate provides flawlessly smooth scene and can be adjusted to 60 Hz/120 Hz for optimized monitor performance - Multiple Display Modes - The CJG5’s Game Mode instantly optimizes black gamma levels, contrast ratios, sharpness and colour value settings for any game genre or movie - Game Style UI - The OSD dashboard menu gives you an instant overview of key settings. The real question being.......how long does one spend looking at the sides of a monitor? **Q: Is this good for ps5** A: Pretty sure there are no speakers built in. If money is not an issue for ps5 you want a 4k tv with 120hz refresh rate. This monitor is only 2k but i am sure it would work with a headset. **Q: I ordered this monitor 4 days ago when it was posted at a lower price, however it’s been on pending delivery date ever since. Why is that?** A: I ordered this monitor on the 27th of November. My delivery is still pending. Roughly how long does it take to deliver? ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Simply incredible *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 25 June 2020* Did alot of browsing for a cheap, well functioning 1440p monitor and couldn't find many good contenders, then this godsend comes up. My god is this thing a beast for the price, 1440p, 144hz, 27'', great colour accuracy, a sleek design (however a little bulky at the back), its got the whole package. Some people seem to have reported dead pixels on their screen, but from my ~2 months of owning this screen I haven't seemed to come across any (this might not mean there are none, I did a check and found none, it does mean however that IF there ARE dead pixels they are barely noticable and not anything to be worried about). From my long period of using the monitor i've only found 2 things that were slightly annoying, but not enough to stop me recommending this. First is that I dont have a window or any major light sources facing the monitor but it reflects the light a bit too well, and it can get a bit distracting at times, so you may have to keep that in mind when finding a place to put it. Secondly would be the blur that occurs, if you keep you eyes on the mouse and move it around you can see a pretty decent chunk of motion blur that is pretty clearly visible, however in gameplay and movie watching it's not too noticeable. Other than that there's really no reason why anyone shouldn't get this monitor if they're on a budget and wanting a high quality 27'' 144hz 1440p display.Tl;Dr: if you're on a budget and looking for a great monitor for gaming, movie watching, or any sort of extended play, there's not many better choices than this. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good monitor, good all around performance at a very competitive price *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 14 January 2021* Bought this monitor from amazon around the time of black friday.Came well packaged, both EU and UK plugs provided. HDMI port outputs at 144hz and a HDMI cable is included.Pictures are sharp and vibrant, lots of settings to adjust accordingly. Eye saver mode works wonders when using the monitor for working.Only drawback is the stand isn't very adjustable, however I haven't needed to adjust it.If you're looking for a 1440p 144hz monitor on a budget, this is definitely one to go for. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good monitor. Wish retailer would check contents *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 8 May 2020* The monitor itself is excellent quality and i would reccomend.has amd sync.howeverMy monitor arrived with a power cable that was clearly a mainland european plug and included was a uk adaptor that would not fit.Comes with a basic HDMI cable and not a DP cable. To get full advantage a DP cable is required.Trying to speak to any customer services online is proving near impossible. Both amazon and samsung are playing off against each other. All i was is a UK power cable and a DP wire. --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.sn/products/200863338-samsung-lc27jg56qquxen-27-curved-gaming-monitor-wqhd-2560x1440-144hz-freesync](https://www.desertcart.sn/products/200863338-samsung-lc27jg56qquxen-27-curved-gaming-monitor-wqhd-2560x1440-144hz-freesync) --- *Product available on Desertcart Senegal* *Store origin: SN* *Last updated: 2026-10-03*
