It is oily on application but that’s what makes it so effective. I just wish everything in life were as effective and reliable as B & W ointment.

My son was in a motorcycle accident and had road rash all over his arms, shoulders, and back. A nurse friend recommended this ointment and it worked wonderfully along with often and careful cleaning of the burns. He also received some as a gift from others who have used it. The smell is not the best but it's truly a great product.
