Tahoe Tack Western Barrel Horse Saddle Cow Print with Burgundy Traditional Acrylic Saddle Blanket

I've had this saddle for a couple of months and really like it. This is my first flex tree saddle and I will never go back. Because of the flex, I can swap it between horses and it molds well to fit them all. But that is just the beginning. I used this saddle trail riding on some of the biggest hills in the western Dakotas (Black Hills and Teddy Roosevelt National Park) and was amazed at how well it worked. When going up extreme grades, I would notice my horse uncomfortable when the saddle would shift backwards. But almost immediately, I would hear the tell-tale squeak of the rubber tree flexing followed by my horse noticeably relaxing as the saddle flexed to a better shape for steep grades.The durability of this saddle has been amazing. The leather is quite thick and the horn is all-metal covered by rawhide, and seems solid enough to handle occasionally ponying another horse. In the Black Hills, there was a minor accident where my horse got away from me on a major hill (I didn't use a breast collar despite being in hills that I really should have The saddle had slipped backwards out of position, and after I was off, my horse ran back to camp. The saddle actually came off the back of the horse and when I found it, it didn't have a scratch on it. (And I learned never to go into hills without a breast collar again. . .) That's more abuse than I would have ever thought a saddle would endure without damage.

I love this saddle, it's my favorite. It's comfortable to ride, it fits my horse" he's 15.2hh, and its lightweight, no struggling to get it up on his back, it's well made, and beautiful.

Beautiful saddle nice light mahogany color. The back of the saddle comes very high which I love, the cow hair is very nice. Overall a very nice saddle!

Saddle is good. Protector on the saddle horn ripped off but doesn't make a difference. Saddle fits the horse just right and looks really nice on her.
