They do wiggle around a bit, but they appear to have a small hook on the tip of the pin which keeps them from pulling out. Depending on the stage of the project, I end up using different wires, because of the gender differences between breadboard and Pi. Glad I got this 3 pack for that reason.For breadboards, they work fine too, but they kinda wobble around, so I'd say they are better at making external connections. I prefer breadboard jumpers for strictly breadboard-to-breadboard connections. For example:Β  Pre-formed 140-piece Jumper Wire Kit I soldered a couple of them into PCB through holes and they didn't melt.I also like how they're firmly attached to each other, but not too much of a pain to peel apart.
