Normaderm Daily Acne Face Wash, 0.5% Salicylic Acid Cleanser

I've been using this brand cleanser for years and love it. Good lather, cleanses well, isn't drying, and keeps my skin clear. The price is reasonable for the quality of product.

I’ve been really loving this acne cleanser! It actually works without feeling heavy or harsh on my skin. It leaves my face feeling clean and fresh, and I’ve noticed a nice improvement in my skin’s texture with consistent use. It’s gentle enough for everyday use while still helping with breakouts. Definitely a great cleanser if you’re looking for something effective but lightweight!

I bought this for a relative who has oily acne-prone skin which is also sensitive. So far they only use this once a day (at night), to prevent excess dryness, and in the morning they use the Vanicream Gentle Cleanser. Previously this relative had been using the Paula's Choice CLEAR Pore Normalizing Cleanser twice a day which also has 0.5% salicylic acid, but it had been drying out their skin. My relative appreciated the pump bottle of the Vichy, but wished it was also fragrance-free like the Paula's Choice and Vanicream cleansers. The Vichy has a slight herbal scent that they find unnecessary and slightly off-putting. It remains to be seen whether the Vichy is more drying than the Paula's Choice; my relative would have to use the Vichy twice a day in order to fully test that. I will report back when I know more.

I’ve been using this Vichy face wash for 5 years and I can’t live without it. My skin is very oily and acne-prone, and this cleanser really helps prevent breakouts and dries out existing acne quickly. It does leave my skin feeling a bit dry after use, so I always follow up with a good moisturizer. I absolutely love this product and highly recommend it for anyone with oily or acne-prone skin.

This is a very good value, besides the fact that it works so well. I have ultra sensitive skin, and Lupus, for I easily flare into that classic Lupus “mask” on my face. This doesn’t trigger it at all, in spite of its wonderful fresh fragrance (which actually made me afraid to try it! I typically can’t do any fragrance at all on my face) It is a very light and fresh scent, and a very little bit of cleanser goes a very long way. I use an amount about the size of a ladybug in my palm, and rub my hands together to get a lather, then apply it to my wet face. Works beautifully and my face feels clean, and never tight or stripped afterward. I sent some to my daughter to try and she loves it too!

Excellent value for money

I’ve been using the Vichy Normaderm Intensive Purifying Cleanser for a few weeks, and it has quickly become one of my favourite skincare products. My skin is blemish-prone and can get oily in the T-zone, but also sensitive — so finding something that cleans deeply without irritating is a challenge. This cleanser hits the perfect balance. The formula with salicylic acid and zinc really helps keep breakouts under control. After washing, my skin feels properly clean and purified but never stripped or tight. I’ve noticed fewer new blemishes and less shine throughout the day, which is a huge win. The texture lathers nicely, the scent is fresh and not overpowering, and the 200ml bottle lasts longer than expected since you only need a small amount. If you struggle with clogged pores or recurring breakouts, I definitely recommend giving this a try. It’s gentle, effective, and genuinely improves the look and feel of blemish-prone skin.
