I guess the name speaks for itself; however I gave it 4 stars due to the fact that the Jasmine contained is an "ABSOLUTE" meaning it was extracted by a SOLVENT ( because Jasmine, Rose, Hyacinth, Lavender; and Mimosa are common Absolutes recommended for fragrance use only) that is usually obtained by alcohol extraction; from the concrete, (a soft, sticky wax). Providing that was the processed used, then the end product is subject to have synthetic residue in the product. Jasmine extracted by that procedure, is a type of essential oil that is NOT, considered of a therapeutic grade. I contacted the company; and I asked..."I noticed on the bottle of the Really Good Hair Oil, ingredients, it reads "Absolute Jasmine EO". During the Extraction process, were, Hydrocarbons, Benzene, Hexane; or any solvents, etc. use?" They were nice enough to promptly reply with..." Thank you for your message. We are pleased to hear that you are enjoying the really good hair oil. Our essential oils are extracted using water and steam distillation. No chemicals are involved in the process." I pray and trust that is true; because I ONLY use ORGANIC, PURE, Cold-Pressed, Expeller pressed; and/or Unrefined oils on my hair; and scalp. With all of THAT being said...I REALLY like this "Really Good Hair Oil". I really enjoy applying this oil to my hair. It has a nice, mild scent. My hair feels more manageable; and more soft after application. The color is like an olive; and it is just the right consistency. Not too thick, not too thin, just right! Providing I experience growth; and more sheen to my hair after the bottle is under halfway used, I will most definitely purchase more bottles. I've been using this hair oil for over a month now and I do like it. I abuse my hair quite a bit by washing/blow drying everyday and getting it colored every month...this oil has brought some life back to my hair. The ends of my hair don't look as split and damaged anymore and the texture is softer. I have only massaged it into my hair and left over night; never tried the hot towel method. Typically I will use this product 3 times a week. I am very happy that this is a natural beauty product; I know exactly what I am putting on my hair. The scent is a little 'earthy', but I don't really mind it. It would be awesome if Fushi sold this in the States...

I have been using this oil for some time now and I really love this oil. I use after washing and drying my hair and it leaves it softer and less likely to break off. My hair smells good, looks good, and is much improved - especially during the winter. I also like that it is a combination of several natural oils and fragrances and no artificial additives. I have repeatedly relied upon Fushi's products for my body, head to toe and have never been disappointed.

I only tried this oil from a free sample included in another oil. Well that's was all I needed. I ordered two bottles immediately! This oil smells great and feels wonderful in my hair. I'm African American with tightly coiled hair. It's a challenge to put in oil that penetrates the hair shaft. Well this oil seems to do just that. It makes my hair shiny and soft. I use it as a pre-poo, hot oil treatment and/or leave in. Great stuff!

Second time ordering from Fushi Wellbeing. Very pleased so far. Somehow feel these oils are superior to any I have tried. Hoping this one helps my thinning hair. The Indian Jasmine fragrance is amazing, beautiful, intoxicating. Bottle has dropper insert similar to aura cacia (but not as snug). Minor spillage occurred during during transit, but fortunately not much. Advise to not rely on the dropper insert.

I have long, fine, straight hair and this is fantastic for keeping my hair gorgeous and healthy. I usually stick to oils for a pre wash hair mask because I prefer using natural products, and this stuff is a blend of several oils and I feel it works better than when I just use coconut or olive oil by itself. I use it about once a week to every other week and a bottle of this stuff lasts me a god 6+ months. I will continue using this product.

I followed the instructions and was not happy with the results. I am of German, Irish, Welsh and Indian-American descent and have typically dry, almost straw-like natural blonde hair in the wintertime. I figured this extra boost of oil used as a treatment would help to give my hair some much needed winter moisture as the climate here is quite dry. The oil did in fact add moisture, but even several days after washing my hair daily - the residue left my hair very oily, not moisturized. It had almost the exact effect as putting baby oil in your hair which can sometimes take weeks or washing with Dawn dish liquid to get out! So this product may work well for certain hair types or someone with more dry or coarse hair who could benefit from a dramatic oil treatment, however for my sometimes dry but typically healthy hair - this was just TOO oily even for an occasional treatment.

This hair oil is a wonderful blend that makes my hair feel very hydrated and healthy. I use it before bed and plait my hair with it in, before washing it out in the morning, and it leaves my hair with a lovely shine. It smells nice too and melts well into the hands, which makes it more workable to run through your hair. It’s quite a heavy oil so a little goes a long way, so I can see this bottle lasting me at least a year or two.

I originally bought this hair oil last year and have been using it on and off. However, I've recently been experiencing extreme hair loss (I'm a female) so have since decided to use it religiously each week (so about 2 1/2 weeks now). I use it 3 times a week. I've left it overnight only once. I tend to massage my scalp, hair and ends at least 2-4 hours before I'm going to wash it. I put a plastic hair wrap over my hair and then put a wooly hat over it to keep my hair / head warm (much to amusement of my family). I am still losing hair but I have noticed it has reduced considerably when I'm brushing and washing it. The smell is amazing and the condition of my hair has become considerably softer. I also rub in a little of the oil on dry hair the following morning, just a bit on the ends and to smooth over my hair. I would like to add that I have also purchased the following oils to add to my mix / alternate - Oriental Botanics Bhringraj and Amla cold pressed oil which I've used only once so far and I've purchased cold pressed pumpkin oil and moringa oil (only just received so not used yet). I would highlight that it takes about 3-6 months before significant results are expected as well as a good diet. I would also recommend a sulfate free shampoo (I use faith in nature and odlique gentle herb shampoo). I haven't yet used any additional essential oils such as Rosemary but I will probably do this.

Ich benutze dieses Haaröl hauptsächlich für meine Kopfhaut. Ich massiere es dazu abends in meinen Kopfhaut ein und wasche es morgens aus. Es hilft mir gegen neuen trockene Kopfhaut und ich habe das Gefühl, dass die Haare kräftiger nachwachsen. Aber auch für strapazierte Spitzen ist es super. Toll finde ich, dass der Geruch nicht so schlimm ist wie die Khadi Öle und nach dem Auswaschen schnell wieder verfliegt. Einzig der Preis ist vielleicht etwas hoch, dafür sind aber die Inhaltsstoffe hochwertig und das Öl ist sehr ergiebig. Auf Nachfrage wurde mir übrigens mitgeteilt, dass nur kaltgepresste Öle verarbeitet wurden.
