OLIVE OLIVIA Elastic Cord (White, 1/8W x 70L)

I must say I was a bit disappointed because I ordered 1/8” orange elastic, then the order changed to “Red”. When I opened my package, it was neither red nor orange but some type of mixture of the two colors. Kind of like a burnt orange or something dark like that. Also, when I opened the package, the top had come off of the spool so a large amount of elastic had unraveled. I literally had to unroll the entire 70 yards of elastic and re-spool it, by hand. It took several tedious hours and for a color I didn’t want. Nonetheless, the elastic is very stretchy and fairly soft. I will eventually find a use for this one, but I ordered the orange I need from a different vendor.

I added a couple of pictures. I selected black elastic As i read other reviews people didn’t care for the off white grayish. That really didn’t bother me. I wanted the because of the colors of masks that I was making. I am totally impressed with the quality and feel of this elastic. It doesn’t feel too tight but yet not too loose. Perfect for behind the ears it even around the head!! Very pleased!!I have ordered from other sellers and ended up having to get a refund because the item never came. This item came within the timeframe it said it would come. Which was fairly quick to begin with considering the shortages. I am very happy. I will have enough to do all kinds of masks for all my friends families coworkers etc. Also the price was extremely reasonable too! I’ve been making the masks for free at my own cost. So, this was a great deal!! Also, no odor!! Plastic wrapped. Heavy spool made of plastic. Thank you!!I will order the white now too!!

Not exactly 1/8 of an inch but it's soft, stretchy and thin enough to use for masks. As you can see is a small spool but rod inside is thin and although I didn't measure it's pretty possible all 70 yards are wrapped around it. only thing I did not like is that the 70 yard spool was "the last one in stock" then after purchase the 160 yard spool from the same seller popped up for $2 more.

The elastic is good to work with, however, the color is not what I wanted or ordered. The description indicates this elastic is red, when in fact it is burnt orange. Fortunately, iIt worked out okay in that it is the fall season and burnt orange worked with the fabric I was using to make masks. However, I am still out red elastic!

I sew with this elastic and it very quickly ravels down to the sewn seam. I even tried heat sealing it to stop the raveling with no luck. I purchased this because it was described as being "Made in the USA". Elastic purchases on Amazon are always hit or miss, some are okay and some are not even when purchased from the same seller. I had hoped that purchasing from a Made in America company would help avoid this problem, but it did not. Ultimately I had to start buying elastic off Amazon to get the quality I needed.

Bought this for making facemasks and bought some cord locks. Works great and is way more comfortable then 1/4 inch elastic. Good price and arrived quickly. I made a bunch for my kindergarten students and none of them are complaining about their ears. Shrinks a small amount when you wash it so I used cord locks and left a little extra. Different people prefer different lengths of elastic anyways.

Likes..good elastic. I gave to a friend to make mask, and got 6 from her for buying it for her since she doesn’t have Amazon nor does she drive

Great elasticity and comfort for the ears (masks). However, I ordered the red, but it's definitely not red; it's more a rust color. This is why my overall rating is not five stars.
