I have used this before in the past it does have an odor. It is not bad at all and once you put a band aide on it you dont smell anything. This salve is used if you have a splinter and it will draw it out, if you have a boil or acne that isn't ready to drain then you put this miracle salve on it and it draws it to the surface. this can also be used for relief of insect bites or even psoriasis. I honestly wished I knew about this salve when I was going through puberty and had acne. also for relief of insect bites that swell. Now the cons: it stains clothes so be careful. normally this ointment smells like tar but this particular brand does not, very important.
