As this is my first kit like this I have nothing to compare it too but I think it’s excellent! Packaged very well, clear instructions, and durable product. This kit even comes with gloves. The magnet is pretty strong although I’m just using it for entertainment purposes. Everything fits nicely inside the sturdy carrier case. For a beginner magnet kit… I absolutely recommend this one.

I’m truly impressed with the quality of everything inside. Even the gloves are great. The rope and clip are exceptionally nice. The magnet is double-sided, allowing you to attach the hook to either side for easy dragging in both directions. It feels surprisingly heavy, but I didn’t have any trouble pulling myself out of the water multiple times. Back-and-forth movement didn’t tire my arms at all.

This was a birthday present for my 14 y/o son. He really liked it, and he's gone out with it several times. Like any fishing, the catches are inconsistent, but he's pulled in a few small ferrous objects. If he stays interested, we'll upsize the magnet. But this kit is a great way to get into the game.

Bought this for our little treasure hunter and he loves this. He's pulled out a lot of metal scraps a couple bikes and a brake cylinder from a semi. Very strong and durable great quality product. Plan on getting an even stronger one in the future.

This is the perfect kit. Love it....not too heavy magnet. I can throw with no problem...(older granny) and I love everything in the case to keep together.

Nice little kit, smaller than expected quite powerful for its size. Magnet snapped off on first use and lost in the river which was a real shame.

I've been magnet fishing several times now. The River Thames is the go to place for pulling out wierd and wonderful items, and this magnet does the job really well. The fact it comes in a sturdy box is an added bonus. I'm a support worker, and I asked the person I support (who's Autistic) whether he would like to give it a go - he agreed. He really enjoyed it (even though he only pulled up a 1p piece) and has said he now wants to buy his own.
