Like it's peers - moleskine, rhodia, ecosystem, etc it is branded as pocket sized but is really not pocket friendly. Too thick and hardcovered - makes for an uncomfortable carry in your pants pocket. Well suited for jacket/suit pocket though and the hardcover with elastic closure lets your throw it in a pack. Some advantages over it's compatriots: Printed index space in front - great for keeping an active table of contents Printed page numbers - awesome idea. I do this to all my notebooks - saves time for me Archive stickers come with it - also a cool idea. Way better than the ad pamphlet that comes standard with the moleskine. The big drawback is the paper. Far too thin. Fountain pen doesn't bleed through but is definitely noticeable on rear side. I've had pilot gel pens show through this paper. Makes using the rear page very frustrating in anything other than pencil or bic ballpoint pen.
