The best jump rope for the price I've ever had
I started boxing again about seven years ago and as everyone who's ever trained in a boxing gym knows, jumping rope is a huge part of training. I've tried at least 10 different jump ropes and none of them got it right. The plastic rope ones are often too light. The cable ones work best but get kinked when you keep them coiled in a bag. Handles often break, etc. These are easily the best I've ever had. Not only is the rope a great weight, but it coils well in the bag and doesn't kind. Most impressively is that the rope has actually broken twice, but the design allows you to just cut the end off clean, re-apply the tip cover and screw it back into the handle. This is the reason I give it four stars for sturdiness. On one hand, it broke a couple of times, on the other, it was easily fixed right in the gym. In short, it is the best value I've ever had for a rope and can't recommend it enough.

Great Jump Rope at a Great Price
I ordered this jump rope a little over a week ago and love it! It is a cheaper alternative if you are looking for a Crossfit Jump Rope. I used the jump rope during multiple workouts and the handles were completely nonslip. I was worried that because the handles are wooden, they might start to smell due to sweat but, so far, they have not.The rope has a little more weight than a normal Crossfit jump rope but I was still able to do double under with the rope and because of the thicker band, I did not trip on the rope as much. (Not exactly sure why). One downside is that, though the band is thicker, it still hurts and leaves marks if you smack yourself with it. Just wanted to give you a heads up because I thought the thicker band might make that less painful. The thicker band does add weight that something like a Wodshop band does not have. I appreciated the extra weight for a workout though. It felt like I was using more of my arm muscles rather than just using legs a cardio. I would not recommend this band for a Crossfit competition though due to the weight.Overall, I found that this jump rope was fast and had great grip. I would recommend it for people starting new Crossfit Gyms because it is half the price of the Wodshop and other Crossfit jump ropes. It also seems more durable so it will last longer when multiple people are using them and because it is thicker, it endures better on non-gym floors. I highly recommend this rope for its good quality at a great price.

Glad I bought this
It's a good ropeComfortable, heavy enough to work properly, and glides smoothlyIt kinked up a bit at first (which I assume is only because it came rolled up in the box) but the kinks worked out without much issuesJust grab the center of the rope and let the handles hang downMild inconvenience, but honestly nothing worth complaining about I expect it to kink less the more I use it anywayLove the ropeI bought one for my sister as well and hers hasn't had any problems eitherWould recommend

Made in America and great!
Other than feeling like an idiot who can’t figure out how I did this as a kid without breaking a sweat, great jump rope. Handles are comfortable, I really dig the eye screw adjusters. Make sure to watch a video or read an article on how to size the length of a jump rope. Frankly, I had no idea.

how do i jump without bending knees?
the jump rope is great. turns out I don't know how to jump without bending my knees each jump. was I supposed to learn this motor skill at some point in my life? who knows. but it is very hard to jump rope without knowing how to hop. I'd imagine it looks really weird too. is it in the toes? do i just need springy toes?

Great jumprope, especially for beginners
Given the current situation with all gyms being closed, I decided to get into jump roping. I was using a cheap plastic one laying I had around the house but knew I needed a better one when I could barely get through a workout without it tangling. This was the perfect replacement. It is super durable with some good weight to it that makes it the perfect rope for jump ropers just starting out. It doesn't twist or knot and is easily adjustable. Just all around a fantastic product.

We got one each his and hers
We both got ropes since hers needed to be shorter. Super easy to adjust. For the cost and US made these are hard to beat. Action is very smooth. The plastic showed some abrasion jumping on the patio so I just put down a yoga mat and jumped on that. Problem fixed. We really like the wood handles and the feel. Nice that there are color options.

Better chance at a dollar store
The media could not be loaded. Simply put, this is the worst jump rope I've ever owned and that's in comparison to dozens. If you're new, or experienced, to jump roping then keep looking for anything else, this is just so bad that it motivated me to leave a reviewTLDRPros:The rubber it was made out of is a nice weightCons:Handles are uncomfortable to holdThe rope is hollowSplit down the middle after 1 hour of useRope twists and stays twisted which makes it near impossible to do crosses and most tricksI am an intermediate to advanced jump rope guy that usually sticks to speed ropes and heavy ropes but saw this on sale so decided to try it out. On the first day it showed signs of ripping as you can see in the photos and the 3rd day it split in half, I've split almost all my jump ropes but it takes months typically. Not 3 days of 20 minute sessions. The rope twists up while doing crosses so if you plan to do any tricks or even swinging the rope the side then look further because this rope is just so bad, hopefully the video shows how bad it's memory is.It's cheap and you get what you paid for but I've never had such a poor quality jump rope before even at this price.
