I love this product! The only thing I don't like is the price. When I apply this to a bug, spider, or ant bite, this stuff works fast! It has a pleasant smell, nothing too scentsy, but it feels nice and cool when I apply it. There are trillions of bugs in Florida and Wisconsin so this stuff is always in my cupboard. Also, I hate to say this, but for me, its true. I think this product works way better and faster than Cortisone 10!

The gel stops the itching on contact. I have been using this brand for years on mosquito bites it works great .

This was recommended by my dermatologist as a last ditch effort to calm some itching around the lower part of my face during the two weeks per month that I cannot use steroid medication. I layered it with the non-steroid prescription medication and guess what.. I worked. I am giving 4 starts instead of five because there is a slight tingle/burn sensation at times when I use it. My dermatologist recommended that I go straight to Amazon instead of trying to find this product in the stores, so I did. Once the one tube I purchased gets low, I will probably buy it again so I will have it on hand if needed.

I am a magnet for mosquitoes! I always say the best insect repellent is to stand next to me! Itch-x is the only thing I've every used that really, really controls the itching. I also have a lot of allergies to cosmetics, so there are a lot of products I can't use. I've used Itch-x for several years with no problems.

I don't know if that's the tactic here, but I hope you didn't scratch your itch before use otherwise you're looking more at a sharp stinging instead of that original itch...I don't think it has ever just stopped an itch moreso than distracted from it, but I guess it works kinda. I'm usually not concerned with any itching after the burning and stinging some into play...so that's something, I suppose.
