An interesting and well written book.

Interesting but seems to be a vehicle for promoting nearby preserved railway attractions. Irritating on Kindle as some of the two page photos are spoilt by misalignment and obviously on seperate pages. Would not buy this as a book.

The book came well packaged and in good condition. One of my favourite areas for walking is Derbyshire. I am looking forward to spending a weekend there trying it out. It is well written and good detail.

I found this a very enjoyable and interesting read, covering a whole range of different types of railways, that have been sadly lost.

A fantastic hard back with great content. A gift for a train enthusiast and he loved it. Plus he was old enough to travel on some of the lines before they were cut! Excellent value.

Absolutely fantastic book. Bought for my step father who is an avid train fanatic. I was pleasantly surprised that not only does he not already own this book. But also that he has loved reading this.
