It is very sticky and very pliable so it adheres to any surface you apply it to. Only time will tell if it will stay stuck down for long enough to pay for itself. There was a small problem with the clear tape that is used to keep it from sticking to itself though. It has a tendency to come off in diagonal strips leaving pieces of itself behind. This added a significant amount of time to my project because you now have to try to get the plastic peeled loose while the tape is stuck to the surface you're working on.
