Levi's Men's 517 Bootcut Jeans

The jeans are very nice as usual, but I was a little thrown off by the way these are designed and it's only because I've never had this version from Levi's before till now! I had to look up counterfeit Levi's to know the difference and glad I did, as I'd of hated to send them back just because I didn't know they were legit! They are! The manufacturing numbers match up on the back of the button, and stamped company and San Francisco labels on them and the diamond shape on the back pockets, so let's just say I've worn Levi's for years and was just plain ignorant of the different Levi's manufacturing locations and how they're a little different from the others!

I love everything about these Levi's 517 jeans. Levi's jeans seem to run a little smaller than other brands, so it took me 2 try-ons to get it right. (Normally i wear 32w, but these are 34w and fit perfect). The fabric of denim stiches, color, softness after washing, they are all perfect. I am glad I didn't give up trying to get the correct size for me.

Great jeans waist is true to size. This is my husbands third pair and he loves them. Last forever!

So far so good. Levi's have not lately been giving out accurate estimates of denim fabric weights but these are definitely heavier than many of their slender cowboy boot offerings and they feel like they'll last. If I were to guess I'd have to say they're somewhere in the neighborhood of the upper 13 oz. fabric to somewhere in the 14 oz. area. But I can't be as accurate as I would like. It's too bad Levi doesn't make the effort to tell the buyer exactly what they're purchasing. It's best to be cautious.
