Can I remove this window film if I don't need it?

yes. I just checked mine which has been on the window for around a year now. It peels right off cleanly, leaving no sticky to the glass. I just testes a corner and it pulled off, and then re sealed down to stick. This is not an adhesive product, it is more a static cling type product so it just clings on....

Can it withstand 104° weather without peeling off?

Yes.... at least it should. I have just installed this window film on a south facing window, replacing the film I had installed ten years ago on the same window. There was no problem with peeling before, so I don't expect problems this time. The window doesn't receive as much direct sun during the summer months, but 110° or even 115° temps aren't unusual for us.
