LIFE Picture Puzzle Mysteries Paperback – November 10, 2009

I have purchased many puzzle books that have pictures that change details. This review is for all of them. I teach fourth graders and I tutor second and third graders in writing. This is a fun way to highlight the skill of details. If students cannot find them and orally indicate their position with precise words, then writing comes after speaking so I have a starting place that will eventually make a difference. I have these at home for my young visitors, children as young as 3 or 4 love the challenge of finding the changes and it is entertaining for the adults also, every household that has children living there or visiting should have at least one picture puzzle book available. It is fun for kids as well as adults and it teaches imporant skills at the same time painlessly!

I love the puzzles! However, I don't like, at all, how the answers are given. I don't like the humor and, sometimes, it is hard to understand and find the answer on the puzzle itself.

Very fun picture puzzle book. Some improvements that can be made: (a) print the names of the actors in the pictures and (b) what movies the scene comes from. The black and whites are a lot harder to solve vs. the colored photos.

Its hard.... had to stop 1/2 way through. The black and white pictures looked all the same. well what can I say.

This picture book is challenging and fun. You will have hours of fun trying to spot all the differences. We leave this out on our table when we have get togethers at the house. Great conversational piece! Highly recommend this book!

Since I adore movies I thought this book would have been more fun, but somewhere in the printing the photos aren't exactly the same richness (like one photo is a bit lighter than the one you're comparing it to), also a lot of the scenes are dark and that makes it really hard to spot the differences. Still, I did enjoy the photos and working the puzzles.

These books are the most fun way to pass the time and are mind stimulating also. Along with books I'd say this would be fun for your kids also.

Challenging

Bought this for my husband for Christmas, he is slowly working his way through the book. Nice photos and quite tricky to do in parts.

this puzzle was mors difficult than most which i found a challange. It is just a pity that you cannot buy any of these books made in the uk
