They print nicely. TDK has always made excellent recording media. Prlce is ok and they print better than the Verbatim I used previously. If only they were Glossy.

I will stick with Verbatim and can not recommend this particular brand
I purchased these dual layered DVD's from Amazon last month because I had shot 2 separate long wedding videos that would not fit on single layered dvd's. I have always purchased Verbatim inkjet DVD's - single layered and Blu-Rays with no product problems. I decided to purchase these TDK dual layered rather than Verbatim because Verbatim only sold them in a stack of 50, I only needed 10 so I purchased TDK which came in a stack of 25. In my attempts to burn 10 of these dvd's, 3 have been coasters and 4 damaged, of course I don't find this out until either my computer or dvd play indicates "skipping damaged area", and 6 have been a success. I have 12 left and I'm guessing I'll have coasters and damaged dvd's in half of those 12. I will stick with Verbatim and can not recommend this particular brand.

great value, I recommend it!
works fine, no need to spend more than this to get dual layer dvds ... the printing surface is very clean and the inkjet printer can perform really well at it.

Deserves 5 stars but...
An all around great disc for recording standard DVD's and television shows. Never a coaster in the bunch after going through several hundred and I will continue buying these as needed.Update: These discs are still burning perfectly with a Pioneer (BD writer/player - 2015 model) and deserve 5 stars for that. I have never had a coaster or bad print label but the reason I WILL NOT be buying these discs anymore (and lowering the rating to 3 stars) is due to the fact that in 3 months they have doubled in price. Why? I suspect pure greed. Now I'm searching for a suitable replacement and have had no luck yet. It can get very time consuming and expensive trying different discs. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Pretty good for the price
Took a chance and bought these and was not disappointed. I went through a 25 pack with no problems or coasters.Using an ASUS 241b1st and all my burns work just fine. The disc data shows its RITEK-S04-66, although its a lower quality disc it still works pretty good. Im going to buy these next time.

these TDK's were not good. So far I have attempted to burn 18 ...
I recently purchased a 25 count package of these TDK dual layer DVD-R's. While I have successfully used other brands of the dual layerDVD-R's in the past, these TDK's were not good. So far I have attempted to burn 18 of the discs, with the following results: Eleven of the discs burned successfully, but seven were failed burns. That's a failure rate of 38.89 percent! Considering that I spent $36.02 for the 25 count package, that means I have thus far wasted $10.08 with this one package. I won't buy TDK brand dual layer DVD-R's again.

the discs recorded fine until i got to the last 5 discs or ...
the discs recorded fine until i got to the last 5 discs or so. i read about the last discs being a problem for a lot of people and this turned out to be a problem for me as well. i recorded at the slowest speed on my computer (x4 i believe) from the 1st disc until the last. for some reason the last 5 discs became coasters. i have ordered a 20 pack of verbatim discs. they are more expensive, but hopefully they will have a higher success rate.Update 7-23-16. I wanted to update this review. The Dvds worked alright once I figured out the problem. The disc only allow for 7.96gb, not the 8.5gb as advertised. This is an issue with every disc, dvd, dvd dual layer, blu ray, etc. that I have recorded on. As long as the gb on the video is 7.96 or lower I have no problem recording to the disc...so I'd give the disc 5 stars once I solved the problem.
