It takes a little practice to get this machine just right, but once you've got the knack, it does a great job. Be sure to wear a face mask because this machine makes a lot of very fine dust.

Best sharpening device ever made it's easy to use and has a very detailed video on how to use it. Great for Groomers who are tired of paying sharpeners that leave the shears blunt. Takes a little practice hut amazing!

After having a second machine sent to me from the Manufacturer (Wolff Industries) I figured out the vibration in the machine is caused by the Honing Wheel #25200. The wheels appear to be denser/heavier on one side, causing the machine to walk across a flat surface. Both Machines had vibration, but one was more extreme than the other. The manufacturer said I should return the machine and get something else. They also said If I keep the machine, I should bolt it down to a table or counter top. The machine does sharpen scissors excellently, but I thought it would do so with less noise and vibration for the cost of the machine.

Love this scissor sharpener! It's professional, hugh quality and has great instructional video to watch. Highly recommend if you are looking to start your own side business.

Hands down the best scissor sharpening tool out there. Takes just couple of youtube session to get me up to speed on sharpening angles that's best for my tools which are dozens of fabric shears that get worn out weekly. I've used hand sharpening tool which cause uneven edges and burs to preset angle grind wheels and ended up just taking them to professionals to get them sharpened, which takes time and eventually add up the cost, until now. Takes minimal assembly, adjust your preferred angle and take little practice. Definitely not cheap like other hand sharpening tools however best for your long term investment.

When I decided to start my own clipper blade and shear sharpening business I wanted the best unit I could find. It's easy to set up and with a little practice you are ready to make money.

I received my twice as sharp. First thing opened it took out the DVD and sat down to watch. It would not play in my DVD player. Went to the computer it wouldn't work there either. Savings - you can down load the video. I just wanted the hard copy. The lubricating oil/solution had leaked out and face mask was covered with dried lubrication. I have plenty of face masks. Missing the lubrication product. Product included the wrong allen wrench for the sharpening arm. I have one that does work. After sharpening 10-12 pairs of scissors I really started to look at the balance of where the grind and the polish occurred on the blades. This was not balanced. The product includes washers the make this adjustment. All were to thick, but after trying several thickness of shim stock I got the correct thickness. Now everything runs well. For the price... This should not have been the case.
