Wonderful, visual pictures, so much details, One can sit and read and look for hours and see something of interest. I have read other reviews, and ordered it anyway. I love different. So when I received this beauty of a book, all I can say is just wow! Heart and soul was literally poured into this beauty of a book, literally. Fashion, vintage from the 1920x to the 1990s color pictures, fashion style side notes and the written history. WHO could ask for more. Why this book received negative is beyond me. It is a section of history I myself find most interesting regarding fashion and more. Beautiful color pictures, a lovely size, 8.5 x 11 hardcover and RED. Red is the trend in fashion for 2018!Kudos to Wayne and Gerardine Hemingway for a job well done. Interesting, honest, history, research in one place. Can you tell I love books! Yes I do! Extensive library and just look at my wish list lol. I am retired, older, but appreciate fashion sense, learning and more. What a journey. So thank you to the authors for this nice book that should be on the coffee table at hand at all times. What a lovely conversation piece, beautiful prose and lovely pictures of yesteryear.I highly recommend this one if you are at all interested in vintage clothing, news from that era or just like looking at fashion. If you are a student, I would think this would give you lots of ideas! I really liked how this book was set up, lovely. I hope this review helps you decide if you might like love this one. I sure do.
