Kissho Paint for Japanese Painting Horn Face Color Lumi Accent Colors 6 Colors

These colors are gorgeous, very rich and true. Agree about the opacity being between a watercolor and a gouache, but also glazes nicely. Wish they also had a neon/lumi blue and green. Pans are nice and large.

These colors POP like no others. I'm addicted to Gansai paints and these have added that little something to extra to my art work. The pans are large too so I feel like I will never use them all lol.

I spent weeks searching for neon colored watercolor paints. Technically, these are not specifically for watercolor however, the pigment is just as bright on paper as it is dried in the pan. While it is not of the highest professional grade quality (you can see the separation in my photo and video), this paint- as it is, dried in a pan- performs 50 times better than Holbein’s luminous set when it is placed in pan to dry. I own both and this is the set I choose 90% of the time unless I am painting a professional piece that requires verified lightfastness. Holbein’s neon yellow is comparable to this when used wet, however when whole bines neon yellow was placed in a half pan to dry, without any blending, medium or additives, it is 10x lighter than Lumi’s neon yellow.

Arrived super quickly! I’m doing a watercolor class and another student had this set and the vibrant neon colors were simply magical. I’ve only done a color swatch thus far, but cannot wait to use them!

As a child of the 1970's, I grew up loving fluorescent colors. These are a delight to paint with. Thick or thinned with water, they give great coverage and are highly pigmented. I am really happy with this little set. I wish the picture could show how really bright they are. I can tell you, they will make your EYES SWEAT they are so bright. I LOVE THEM!

I couldn’t be happier with these paints. They’re super bright , fluorescent even. I’m not one that usually likes pan sets but this is amazing. They blend beautifully and work just as well as my Mission Gold paints. They also have stayed very bright after drying and haven’t faded at all. Absolutely love them!! Will be buying them again. 💯

These are really lovely quality neon watercolor paints. They add a wonderful neon accent to paintings and are also useful in mixing colors. The neon quality adds a vividness to the paint. The yellow is especially great as it is a true highlighter yellow color and very cool in tone which is hard to find.

I saw another artist use these so I thought I'd try them and I adore them. Deep bright pients, everything a watercolour should have

呉竹の中間色セットに使用してみました。 始めての違うメーカーさん、さらっと溶けやすい 呉竹の顔彩とは違ってよかったです。 蛍光の青色がやっぱりあるといいです。 。

届いてみて大きさに驚きました。 おそらく別のセットにフィットするように作られているのでしょうけど単品で使うにはこの半分くらいが調度いい気がします。そして値段も半額なら‥ ケースカバーが透明なので綺麗な色が見えて置いておくだけでワクワクします。 色はとても鮮やかで発色もいいです。が筆はこまめに洗わないとバサバサになります。 あとブルー系の蛍光色があれば是非購入したいです。 ちなみに日本画の知識は全くありません。大人の塗り絵やお絵描きに使ってます。
