After reading other reviews on weighted blankets, I decided to go with Luna. (I have bought two now, one as a gift) I love that the material is organic cotton, and the beads are not made of plastic. Thr material is cotton so it is light but strong. I have used this blanket for 3 or so months now. Having battled insomnia, restless legs, joint pain, and muscle pain, I had read that a weighted blanket could help. Honestly, I hardly have sleepless nights now. The blanket isn't too heavy but just heavy enough. I did get the 15lb , technically too heavy for my weight according to studies, but I love my blanket!! Before I had this blanket there were many nights I was awake until 3 am due to insomnia and pain. Now, usually within a half hour of winding down, I am alseep! It calms my restless legs , and really lessens muscle and joint pain! Blanket is sturdy, holding up well. Totally worth the money.

Pros: I absolutely love this blanket. I suffer from a disorder that causes my joints to dislocate very easily with movement (even in my sleep) and this blanket has helped so much with that. Since using this blanket, I feel more rested when I wake up and I don't hurt as bad as I used to.Cons: The dimensions of the blanket are for a queen. I have a full size bed and thought this size would be great because it would be just enough to hang over the sides of my mattress. This was not the case. The blanket fits perfectly with the face of my mattress. There's no overhang at all, even though the dimensions of the blanket are the same as that of a queen mattress.

I LOVED this product when I first purchased it. The soft pressure greatly improved my quality of sleep. I could fall asleep faster and stay asleep throughout the night. I used the code in the package to receive my free cover from LUNA to protect it from any stains and wear. Unfortunately the next time that I removed the cover to have it washed, I discovered that my weighted blanket had developed some leaks in the lining and the glass particles were everywhere like sand. Really sad that it didn’t hold up and that I won’t be able to use it anymore.

Excuse the mess in my room from the photo, but this is a great weighted blanket! I was thinking about buying the gravity blanket, but I saw this one was half the price and I have no regrets. The material of the blanket is very soft and comfortable. The weight distributes evenly and you really don’t move when you sleep. The only time I had trouble sleeping with this was when I forgot to turn the AC on- but that’s true with any blanket. I’ve taken sleep medication before and woken up foggy, but with this I fall asleep fast, stay asleep and wake up refreshed! An added bonus is the packaging the blanket comes in can be reused to store the other blankets and comforters you’re no longer using after purchasing this one. It can easily fit inside a full or queen duvet cover, but I haven’t used one yet because I’ve enjoyed the soft grayish color it has.

i stalked my delivery man for hours before this came, it came very fast. as soon as i got it i ripped open the package and brought it straight to my room. oh my GOD is this blanket amazing. i got the 20 pound one it feels like i’m being swaddled like the perfect baby i am hehe. i have bad anxiety and i can never sleep. as soon as i got it i took a long nap and woke up hours later. i never even napped after finals in college, this knocked me right out. i will say it’s not very cooling, however i am always hot even if i sleep with no blanket at all. i highly recommend this blanket. i have looked at like 70 of them before getting this one. my bed is a full and it fit perfectly. even my dog approves!!! :)

I was really excited to find a weighted blanket to help with my sleep and anxiety. Before Luna I tried several blankets - Somnos and Serenity Engineered, looking for a blanket that had a easy cover system that was secure, closest to white in color to match my bedding and had good pressure but wouldn’t cause overheating. Serenity’s zipper system was unattractive in person and the blanket didn’t provide enough pressure. Somnos was white but the blanket was thick, noisy when moving, didn’t stay put and I was overheating.Luna has met all my criteria with a light grey color, comfortable weight and while it does make some noise if you move it, I find I don’t move under this blanket and therefore it’s not a factor. Thanks Luna for a great product !

Very pleased with this blanket. It came nicely packaged. It was advertised as organic cotton -- tag on blanket just says 100 % cotton. But I don't really care, it's very soft and cool to the touch. The glass beads do just drift to side or corner because there is nothing holding them, and no stitching to keep them "in place" but this isn't a problem for me. The material is pretty thin and see through when you hold it up to light. I don't think there's any poly fill, which I'm glad about, because it'd just make me hotter. The blanket is very large, able to cover the surface of a queen size bed. A little ackward lugging it from the bedroom to living room. I would anticipate bead leakage if it were jostled around too much. For me, it's mostly on my bed.I got the 15 lb blanket. I weigh 135 lbs and sleep very hot. I was worried about overheating. However, I've found I like to fold it in half to sleep under. I find the heavier weight is wonderful. I poke my feet out if I get too warm and that keeps me regulated. It is a bit of a challenge to change positions under that weight, but once I do, I easily relax. I think it helps me have deeper sleep. I dream more now.I'm a newcomer to the weighted blanket. I just stumbled upon the item while searching for bamboo and alpaca duvets. The concept sounded intriguing. This blanket came before my other expensive bedding and now I don't know what to choose to sleep with! Been using the weighted blanket for about a month so far, haven't tired of it yet. When the bamboo duvet cover arrives, I'm wondering about having that next to me for softness and temp control and the weighted blanket over it? Not sure if it will damage the bamboo fibers?? Anyway, I've been pleasantly surprised by this blanket.

First impressions : a nice thick cotton, the quality seems to be there. The layers are are fluffy so you don’t feel the tiny glass beads. Making it feel more like a quilt which I like. Overall a good purchase.*1 week update*. Based on recommendations 20lbs would be the weight that I would need. However I have tried 15lbs it was too heavy and caused anxiety due to the weight. So of course when I saw Luna offers a 10lbs in a queen size I had to try it. Thankfully I have found the right weight for me. The quality is great, the cotton is thick but soft. Yes it is made in China however the quality is there and the OEKO-TEX ensure no harmful chemicals were used in the making so no weird smell out of the bag. Luna Blankets are sold at Macy's and on their website so not just an Amazon seller company which to me makes them more solid. I have slept with only the weighted blanket and with it on top of my usual blankets, my apartment is very warm but I didn't over heat. If you are looking for an affordable weighted blanket without compromising the quality than a Luna Blanket is the one for you.* 1 month *I LOVED this blanket. The cotton was soft, kept me cool. Then I started to notice the weight being off, heavier in some spots. Sure enough the beads had leaked through the stitches into other squares. It got to the point that it felt like tennis balls on me. I could no longer use. A exchange could not be done so I returned it to Amazon for a full refund. Thank goodness for Prime. I emailed the seller, they were quick to request photos “ so they could send a replacement.” I waited a day. Didn’t hear back so returned the blanket to Amazon. I sent another email, no reply. Poor customer service on Luna’s part.

2 month reviewSo I bought this for the missus because she's pretty restless when she sleeps and iv got a permanently damaged leg. So when she's throwing kicks and punches and doing barrel rolls in bed, im usually left on the edge of the bed in terror waiting for a random kick to my special place.Not with this bad boy though! Since I got her this she doesnt move an inch. I bought the 6kg (7kg? Can't remember the exact) because I wasn't sure of the weight. But she loves it, went from getting up 6 times a night to staying in bed all night long and literally not moving. Its actually pretty amazing when I think about how a blanket did that.

Absolutely life changing! For as long as I can remember, I have always laid awake in bed for an hour or so before finally going to sleep. I would wake up several times in the night, experience night sweats and always feel tired during the day. Since using Luna, I am now going to sleep within 15mins and sleeping the whole way through the night without any night sweats! The blanket is a perfect size and doesn't interfere with my husband sleeping next to me. Honestly never thought a weighted blanket would change my sleep as much as it has!

Ive suffered from GAD, general anxiety disorder, and Panic Attacks, since 2003, so a long time. Largely I have had this under control for several years through a variety of tools. CBD capsules, yoga, diet, exercise and lots more.One key component I know is super important is sleep. Good sleep. If I have poor sleep for several days on the run I can feel the effects markedly. Having a routine is especially important for me. A month ago I moved to a rotating shift pattern, 6am to 2pm one week followed by 2pm to 10pm the next.This really threw my consistent in bed for 10 routine out of sync. I would be getting into bed at 12 midnight when on lates at the earliest and struggling to adapt to the early shift the following week.I have read about weighted blankets before and having read so many reviews for this particular product I decided to take the plunge, with some degree of cynicism. I couldn't have been more wrong!The Good -The blanket is heavy. I plumped for the 9kg Queen version. I weigh around 90kg so this was the advised weight.I was a little concerned at how heavy it actually is but I needn't have worried. Once it's in place on your bed and you sneak under it it's akin to being hugged is the best analogy I can give.It's soft. You cannot feel the tiny glass beads inside, nor can I hear them rattling, they are just there. The blanket moulds to your form and the cover is as said surprisingly soft.The blanket is well stitched. After two weeks of use there are no plucks pulls or mistitching evident to my inspection. Plus no leaking beads.As per the picture the Queen size is big. It almost fits across our King Sized bed.It works. It really does work.From night one of using this I have noticed a much faster drift to sleep. In the past at the end of a late shift even if in bed for 12 I would still be reading or on my phone for an hour sometimes more. No longer.I am out like Muhammed Ali's light switch each and every night. Regardless of how tired I am or I am not. This blanket sends me to slumber so fast. My wife has noticed it, I have felt it and recorded it each morning. And it's been a revelation.I still wake through the night as I always have done and imagine I always will, however I am drifting off much much faster and its not placebo, there's clearly something at work here.Since using this it's really turned my sleep routine on its head again, in a positive way. I cannot explain why it works but it makes me drift away to lala land in moments. Fantastic.I love its effect!The could be better -If I had one minor comment it would be that there doesn't seem to be any options for a smaller size with a heavy weight. This means that because my wife is not a part time insomniac like me she's a bit perturbed at having so much blanket on the bed do I do scrunch it up so as to try and cover just myself.The same weight in a smaller size would be truly amazing.As it is this is a fantastic product. It has changed my night times immeasurably, I am certain it's contributing to my overall routine to thwart my GAD and Panic attacks. And it looks great I think too!You might not know you need one of these blankets, but try it and you soon will.Absolutely recommended.Five Stars.

Oh my gosh! Best Buy ever for so many reasons and on so many levels. Firstly I love the colour, the weight and size are exceptional. I ordered the super king as I have a king bed, however I suffer with intractable Migraine and Seizures so I spend a lot of time in bed and I’m all over the place and the quilt usually ends up on the floor. I have recently been on a new medication and I was waking up with really bad night sweats. For while now I have put this down to the medication but since getting this blanket I have slept comfortably I don’t regular temperature no sweat and I don’t move around as much. The feeling of the blanket it’s almost like my mum giving me a big hug during an attack it may sound crazy but if you’re reading this can you suffer with anxiety stress migraines et cetera this is a great bye you have nothing to lose.
