I purchased a 9.6v 4.5mAh for my other Makita drill in July 2021 and it has performed just as well as the original Makita battery, I have used it since then and it still works well and keeps its charge without any issues. This is in contrast to the Kinon battery I purchased for my Bosch 12v drill which looses its charge very easily and is not fit for purpose in my opinion. As I was happy with my first purchase of the Shentec 9.6v battery I decided to buy another one for my 12v Makita drill. On arrival and unboxing of the battery, it felt much lighter than my original 12v 2.6mAh battery even though the Shentec is a 3.5mAh, so I weighed them both for a comparison with the following results:- Original Makita 12v 2.6mAh = 689g Shentec 12v 3.5mAh = 432g I’m not sure what this would mean to the performance of the Shentec battery but so far it works well with my drill .
